With beta 6 they have slightly adjusted the top safe area (or top margin in non-developer terms) so that content, like buttons, in the top navigation bar no longer almost touch the Dynamic Island. Looks much better.

Good catch. I also think this component has been made a bit larger than what it used to be.

Some thing I noticed or better to say, I am missing, is the function to pin music, playlists, songs in the music app - anyone can pin their music to the top of the app?
I can’t

Ok so it has to be (again) a Apple Music exclusive feature …nicely done apple… 🙈
On my iPhone I don’t have the option, only to mark it as favorite…only have self bought music on my music app - using Spotify, but this is a bad decision I think, as it is with auto mix your music (also not available for me).
Did apple mentioned that somewhere that you need a Apple Music subscription?

Edit:
looked up for the widget that shows the pinned music: it says it needs Apple Music subscription and synchronize set to be on

I can understand auto mix as they’re probably analysing the music and performing the mixing server-side. But the pinning function should not be limited to Apple Music subscribers given it sits in your Library!

WHOA that menu for inserting images and such in a message is big. Wasn’t that big in previous betas or iOS versions. I may have older eyes, but I’m not that blind

Interestingly, I can pin my personal albums (previously uploaded via iTunes). So it seems the feature may be limited to Apple Music subscribers, but the albums don’t have to exist within Apple Music.

Yep you need the subscription for Apple Music in order to get it working

16 Pro was nice and cool all day yesterday after installing the beta. Then, about 30 minutes ago, it randomly got super hot while just doing casual web browsing and checking social media.

Seems fine after a restart.

Even if it’s beta 6 already, it’s still beta, I expect something like that happening from time to time - all good for my 15PM, nothing to crazy to report, a bit faster battery life loss but nothing else so far :)
