iOS 26 Speculation Thread

I do enjoy iOS 26 but there are some annoying little glitches and bugs. I hope we will see a minor update which fixes some bugs before they release the next beta.

For example, when I swipe down for Spotlight the word Search in the search bar is bold for a second and then gets back to normal. That’s very annoying cause I use Spotlight often.
 
im thinking 26.0.1 today or tomorrow to fix the camera bug issue on the new phones, maybe some other fixes for other devices? guess it depends on if they have a fix in place already and have confirmed it actually fixes the issue. otherwise that could push to next week.

26.1 beta next week due to that being a priority

From the front page:

Apple is preparing to release iOS 26.0.1, according to a private account on X with a proven track record of sharing information about future iOS versions.

The update will have a build number of 23A350, or similar, the account said.

The 17s already getting a newer build as a day one update. But it’s not clear if this already fixes the camera issues. If not I would expect 26.0.1 also as soon as possible.

interesting, last year 18.0.1 was rumored to be coming on october 2nd and it ended up being released on the 3rd

not saying this will happen but 26.0.1 was rumored yesterday, release today?

They already released a new build of 26.0 for the new iPhones a couple days ago. So I don’t expect anything else today.
 
So I am setting up my Ultra 3 and I went to update the software on it. I got a 26.0.1 showing and it's downloading. Anyone else seeing a X.X.1 on any devices? My phone is not showing a new update.
