We could see 26.0.1 tonight at 10am PT, to arrive before the new iPhones, then 26.1 beta 1 at 1pm PT. But more likely 26.1 beta will come in the beginning of next week

I do enjoy iOS 26 but there are some annoying little glitches and bugs. I hope we will see a minor update which fixes some bugs before they release the next beta.
For example, when I swipe down for Spotlight the word Search in the search bar is bold for a second and then gets back to normal. That’s very annoying cause I use Spotlight often.

im thinking 26.0.1 today or tomorrow to fix the camera bug issue on the new phones, maybe some other fixes for other devices? guess it depends on if they have a fix in place already and have confirmed it actually fixes the issue. otherwise that could push to next week.

For those hoping for 26.0.1 - maybe today based on the new News article posted on the front page. Still not seeing a beta coming though this week.

26.0.1 is definitely the priority. I would be surprised if we don't get it after tomorrow at the very latest. The iPhone 17 has those camera issues, and customers are getting them tomorrow.
Looks like they weren’t ready for 26.0.1. Theres an updated 26.0 build for 17s only.
The 17s already getting a newer build as a day one update. But it’s not clear if this already fixes the camera issues. If not I would expect 26.0.1 also as soon as possible.
interesting, last year 18.0.1 was rumored to be coming on october 2nd and it ended up being released on the 3rd

For new phone releases they will release software updates on any day of the week. But agreed it’s unlikely as they already updated 26.0 yesterday.
They already released a new build of 26.0 for the new iPhones a couple days ago. So I don’t expect anything else today.
I switched it back ON - won't take long for the next beta to arrive - and if needed - you can always switch back
