My iPad resprings every time i minimize an app. Hoping this is the fix!re-release of beta 3. hopefully this fixes my messages bug.. going from unknown senders to messages would freeze the phone for a few seconds. Also messages would take a while to send
They don't deem it less stable, if anything it's more stable as it's been built more times.Strange for them to release the same build but deem it less stable (f to k).
Nope. This one is still not the fix for iPad resprings upon minimizing an app when another app is open on the screen. My iPad resprings every time i minimize an app. Hoping this is the fix!
Why not? We’ve seen revised build this late in the week with a new release the following Monday/tuesday.I guess we’re not getting a new beta on Monday then..
Until the end of March in the UK when we “spring forward” and realign.I think clocks in the US change tonight so we should get betas an hour earlier.
The letter at the end does not indicate stability. It is simply the number of times a specific build has been compiled.Strange for them to release the same build but deem it less stable (f to k).
You're only half right. While it's true that the letter indicates the number of times a build has been compiled, they don't compile it over and over for fun.The letter at the end does not indicate stability. It is simply the number of times a specific build has been compiled.
So build 23E5223f has been compiled 6 times (a to f), the re-released build 23E5223k another 5 times.
I sure know what compiling means. 😉You're only half right. While it's true that the letter indicates the number of times a build has been compiled, they don't compile it over and over for fun.
A build is compiled after fixing an issue to check for errors, and if one is found, it's worked over again and compiled till it's successful. In other words, the initial build was not satisfactory if they went back to fix something.
I'm uncertain if you have any software dev background but I'd seen people throw around the word compilation here without the faintest clue what it actually entails.
Exactly my point. My guess is today.I am not exactly sure how to figure this part out, but if the 17e is not supported on beta 3, then we'll get a new beta between today and tomorrow. They won't want the potential of people not being able to restore because they are coming from a phone that had the beta on it.
Or they could just release a build of beta 3 for the new phone and iPad. Regardless I do hope we get a new beta today or tomorrow.I am not exactly sure how to figure this part out, but if the 17e is not supported on beta 3, then we'll get a new beta between today and tomorrow. Just a guess, but I think we can see an RC today and a public release Wednesday with the new products.
