I'm thinking May 4th. beta 4 on Monday. When’s eta of RC?
You never know. From the outside of these things, we all typically assume that when a successor has been announced for a high level position, that just means that the incoming leader is now shadowing the outgoing leader to learn the ropes... but continuity of operations can be so important that sometimes it instead means that the "practical" effective date of transition has already passed -- in that the incoming leader is actually making the decisions now with little more than informal advice from the outgoing leader -- even though the "official" effective date is still in the future. I have no idea if this is how Apple does things... but frankly, we'd likely never know, either way.If they release on May 4th, it should include Star Wars themed wallpapers and emoji.
Maybe under new leadership, they'll become fun again (so, maybe NEXT May) 😀
Or maybe they can be Apple again and make iOS a polished experience again, no reason my flagship phone is stuttering on the Home Screen or scrolling through apps.If they release on May 4th, it should include Star Wars themed wallpapers and emoji.

I hope so. I'm tired of the keyboard inconsistency.I think tomorrow is the deadline to submit apps with the iOS 26 SDK? So we should be getting a bunch of app updates with the new keyboard, hopefully some developers embracing Liquid Glass.
Sadly devs can still flag not to use Liquid Glass at least until Xcode 27, so we could still be dealing with apps not using the new app standards until next April.I think tomorrow is the deadline to submit apps with the iOS 26 SDK? Would the keyboard still be updated even if they don’t use Liquid Glass?Sadly devs can still flag not to use Liquid Glass at least until Xcode 27, so we could still be dealing with apps not using the new app standards until next April.
Not actually sure, Meta is limiting access to Liquid Glass on WhatsApp and if you don’t have it you get the old keyboard, but for them to be able to offer Liquid Glass at all they must be using the latest SDK, so I’m thinking the two may be linked.Would the keyboard still be updated even if they don’t use Liquid Glass?
Yes it would. So apps are gonna receive new keyboard layout but might stay with old iOS 18 menus.Would the keyboard still be updated even if they don’t use Liquid Glass?
This suggests otherwise.Yes it would. So apps are gonna receive new keyboard layout but might stay with old iOS 18 menus.
you won't miss a lot waiting for the release to come, just my 5 ctSo RC next week already? Guess I'll wait until then. Or even for the final.
