iOS 27 Beta 1 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

My only issues so far: sending a photo from photos app to someone crashes photo app, Apple Pay doesn’t work, and Assistive Touch doesn’t respond (use it to restart my phone and I can triple click into it as usual but double clicking the assistive touch does nothing). Also still having iOS 26 bug where every update removes my preferred routes. Still indexing but have played with the new photo settings on current iPad mini and iPhone 16 Pro 🤷‍♀️

Agreed. You have to describe any corrections. Or say something generic, like “I get errors” and the AI tries to fix it. That actually worked for me.

I suspect we’ll get our granularity back in a future update.

There is a button to get to the regular shortcuts editing 🙂 and now automations can trigger on notifications 🙂

I've been skimming the thread to see what's broken for daily usage, and "Apple Pay doesn't work" sounds worrying, no beta broke this so far. What's the symptom, what happens when you try to use it?
 
AirTags not being recognized again, making sound when grabbed with the paired iPhone and even looking in the app it says “with you now” but if you press to find it doesn’t find it.
 
Huge amount of data increase on my Air…it was approximately 65GB on 26.5.

In UK and I’m still on the waiting list for Siri this morning. I installed about 11pm last night. Hope it’s not stalled but will give till afternoon then might try rebooting my phone. It’s also currently indexing. Anyone else make it past the waiting list overnight?

No, you don't. The old style editor is still there, you just have to tap the three bars button in the top right, that button toggles between the text to edit and the visual scripting.

Shows up in normal shortcuts and automations.

Apple Pay worked for me after updating, no issues whatsoever.

Strangely though I don’t have a notification for indexing anywhere since updating
