In UK and I’m still on the waiting list for Siri this morning. I installed about 11pm last night. Hope it’s not stalled but will give till afternoon then might try rebooting my phone. It’s also currently indexing. Anyone else make it past the waiting list overnight?
I got past the waiting list part and i am in the UK.

Having trouble setting up the expressive voice though

I cant tell if this was already posted, but there is finally a landscape Now Playing interface in Apple Music.
However, it so far ONLY works for Now Playing and nothing else.

By the way, a little PSA: until custom EQ for AirPods is available (not for me so far but the airpods beta hasnt installed yet), you can and should use Headphone Accommodations, with a “slight” “balanced” tone.
Ive been using this setting for well over a year, recently used Sony XM8’s and found it didnt sound, good. Turns out I’m just spoilt at this point. The sound is actually clear and practically as clean as Bluetooth allows, especially considering how small Airpods are.

My only issues so far: sending a photo from photos app to someone crashes photo app, Apple Pay doesn’t work, and Assistive Touch doesn’t respond (use it to restart my phone and I can triple click into it as usual but double clicking the assistive touch does nothing). Also still having iOS 26 bug where every update removes my preferred routes. Still indexing but have played with the new photo settings on current iPad mini and iPhone 16 Pro 🤷‍♀️
Excuse me, Apple Pay isn't working?

iPhone 17PM and literally not a single one of these issues...you should probably wait on the phone to finish indexing before passing judgement.

BTW- Home app UI has received a very minor refresh...looks nice. I have over 200 devices and all are there

I do not disagree but it was hard to wait for it to do anything when he kept going crazy. Everyone's phone usage, apps, configuration are different, and while some may not see issues (i'm generally in the boat of barely having any problems during betas, and i have been doing them since the iphone 4 eras) some may have a very rough time.

I left it on a second phone (17pm as well) with quite less stuff on it, and it behaved as you would expect for a beta 1 of a new OS version, except it shows the exact same issue with 6 of my cameras being completely gone. I also have around 200+ devices in homekits, with mixes of wifi, matter, thread, homebridge and all sort of sensors etc.
Other homekit apps do still list them as being part of homekit, but its like they are "off" and do not show as a camera and no feed.
I'm searching on the internet to see if there are other reports but nothing so far which is strange.

Yeah who cares for insane stability and performance improvements. More features that don't work and are mostly gimmicks are WAY better. 😂

Better read the release notes!! Seems lots of CarPlay issues mentioned in there.

Weird that the release notes are full of CarPlay issue mentions but you are having better results.
I don't understand it either

My Automations on both iOS and MacOS appear to be working ok.

EDIT: Ones triggered by focus mode changes needed to have the focus mode name changed and changed back again in order to work.

To get to automations on iOS, I now have to click "<" and then select Automations from the list.

Also, by default, clicking on a shortcut or automation just shows a stupidly large box with the shortcut name and nothing else. I guess I'm meant to just moan at Siri to change things. However, clicking "Edit Actions" on MacOS or the non-intuitive three-bar icon on iOS brings back the old view where you can actually see and edit the actions.

Oh, and now the automations all have names and also show in the Shortcuts list. This is confusing. I'll have to come up with a naming convention and stick them all in a folder or something.

Oh again! Automations now sync! And they default to being disabled on all devices they sync to. This is great news, and means I no longer have to have automations which do nothing apart from call a shortcut (so that it syncs).

Any interesting changes to try for EU users? Thinking of installing on my iPad Pro M4, but since there's no Siri AI for the moment, i dont know if have any incentives at the moment.

AI in photos does work: reframing and such.

Adding your own cards to Wallet without having to use a 3rd party app is cool.

Creating Shortcuts using AI has been hit and miss, but it's available.

On the Watch, clicking the crown to get your 6 more used apps is awesome. A tap brings to to the full app list.

An issue is when I press Join Waitlist for Siri,

it joins but as soon as I back out of settings - it goes back to “Try Siri” in blue writing again.

Anyone else?

Is the new AI working in Switzerland? We are not in the EU and before it worked but only with some language changes. How is it in iOS27, fully functional?

seems like, but you have to have US English for device region and -language, using a CH AppStore account I made it on the waitlist but sitting there now for over 12 hours...
