17 Pro everything went smoothly, Still have yet to try out all the apps to see what works and what doesn't, I'll post any new findings. Still indexing but was only upgraded 2 hours ago so expected, usually I stick to the Public Betas even though I had a developer account for years now, but figured why not as it's not a big redesign like iOS 26 was. I'll check out the VLC issue sometime in the next day to confirm its widespread, I regularly use VLC just have to grab a MKV video file to test 👍

i installed the beta on my iphone 15 pro max and i had to reboot my iphone and it refused to turn back on, luckily i was about to put the phone in dfu mode and installed ios 26.5.

has anyone come across the bug in ios 27?
Did you do a force restart? I have seen mention of others having this issue with the 15’s when doing a force restart. There appears to be a way to revive it.

Today's update:
- iPad Pro 13" M4 still showing indexing. Updated late afternoon on Monday.
- iPhone 17 Pro - never saw the indexing message. Assuming it is done.
- EQ Not seeing it - Do I have to be on the AirPods beta?
- No New Siri - still on waitlist.
As already written, it’s developer beta 1. I wouldn’t take all the messages about indexing too serious at this point. Even on some devices with barely any data on it the message stays there since install. Could also be bugged at this point.

Still indexing.
Weather app showing rain chances but no more daily forecast.
Feedback app won’t even let me log in so can’t report it.
Nothing critical really.

Update. Never mind that on the daily forecast. Didn’t see the tiny icons and had pressed the precipitation icon.

I installed this on my Iphone 17 pro max yesterday and noticed that Wi-Fi keeps randomly disconnecting when its in use, so if i try and playback any content over Wi-Fi it disconnects, then re-connects again after a moment or so.

Interestingly, it only happens when playing back files locally over wifi, if i use youtube or anything else its fine.

It was perfectly fine before i installed this update, anyone else noticed this? Restarting the phone or router has had no impact.
Ok spoke too soon, been using the phone more this afternoon, just general use, browsing the internet and wifi is dropping, im now having to reselect my wifi then it reconnects.

Anyone test out CarPlay yet?
So far CarPlay has been my biggest disappointment. I've had it crash more than a few times. Once while on a Teams call and using Google Maps, the other while listening to podcasts on Overcast while using Google Maps. My phone is still indexing so I'll wait to completely pass judgement until that's done, but if it doesn't improve I'll have to roll back.

Nah, I like the change. It makes it feel more iOS-like. CarPlay on 26 felt disjointed, when it even worked.
It just doesn’t look like Liquid Glass now, at all. Very clearly a regression on that design, even though the buttons and UI elements in apps are more glassy now.

I feel like that makes CarPlay feel more disjointed from the actual operating system in 27, whereas in 26 at least it looked like the rest of the system did.

I too am getting this, tried everything can't get it to go away. Still on waitlist for New Siri for both Mac and iPhone Air.
Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the "Setup Talk To Siri" consistent alert bug just disappeared for me over night. I'm still on waitlist, only thing different was the indexing has completed.

Battery life is awful. Keyboard even worse.
It’s the initial beta release of a major new iOS version out of eight or nine betas that will be released over the span of the next few months until September. Why does battery life keep being mentioned as a result when its something that has been expected of the initial beta release of quite literally every single beta cycle since Apple first started releasing betas of new iOS versions? They’re unoptimized, they have more debugging code, more checks, etc that have an impact on battery life which improves as additional betas get released and we get closer to the RC and final release.

And I have no issues with the keyboard, but I have predictive text completely turned off because of the fact that I do not really need it.
