I received Siri overnight but I’m still indexing. Do I need to plug in instead of letting it sit on a wireless charger?

I also woke up to my Ultra 2 telling me it only had 2% battery left. I guess watchOS needs more optimization.

anyone getting a persistent Set UP Siri to talk?

I had this for the first day, it has since fixed itself (no amount of troubleshooting would help, it just resolved on its own)

On my iPhone Air, indexing finished by mid-morning the next day. And now it's back to indexing! Strange..

Still no New Siri for me, installed in the first minutes of availability. I saw someone else ask it: has anyone with an iPhone Air seen New Siri open up?

36 hours now on my iPad Pro M4 1 TB and still indexing. I believe it will take a much longer time than we’re used to as indexing needs to be far more detailed for Siri AI to do the new things that it can do. I also see the message that longer charging sessions will make indexing go faster. I’ve been using my ipad mostly on charge and overnight on charge. Surprisingly, iPadOS 27 B1 seems to have improved my battery life compared with iPadOS 26.5 where it was horrible losing 10% each 30 mins of use.

What I noticed: There are still some apps who using the old keyboard on my 17 Pro with iOS 26.5.1 like Deutsche Bahn, YouTube, Ticketmaster and some others.

On my base iPhone 13 with the iOS 27 beta it seems that all apps using the new keyboard. Think it’s a good change and it was time now.

Huge battery drain on on 17 pro max... index still ongoing. Looks like lock screen is using like 20-30% in few hours. So without a charger with me would not last a half day. Good stuff. 🙂
Hopefully it's the indexing causing it, but not sure.

Also had to restart it once after install to get the battery icon working. It hung on same %, so it was showing 50% but got warning battery low, after that it seems to work fine.

What about banking apps? And Applepay? No problems with 2-factor authentication apps?

So far I’ve successfully accessed all of my banking apps, though I haven’t tried every feature or function. Apple Pay has worked. Have had no problem with Microsoft Authenticator.

Did have a problem with Bitwarden loading first time (refused my password) but found a workaround to access it. Disabling and re-enabling Face ID worked to fix it, no problems since.

Installed on my spare iPhone 13 Mini and it is actually quite snappier than the latest iOS 26.5.1 and that’s not sarcasm. For the first dev beta 1 release, that’s impressive considering where we were last year.

Iirc iOS 26 was almost unusable for a month in the beta periods last summer.
Do you still get the Siri app on iPhone 13 mini?

like the new EQ coming with the AirPods update... but how to boost bass now? Just pulling the left further up?

IMG_0889.jpeg

yes and Siri provides a proper "How To..."
Yes, the leftmost slider controls the LOW frequencies, which is where the bass resides. Dragging that specific node up will enhance the bass in your AirPods.

To get the most out of your custom EQ, you can adjust the three main frequency ranges shown on your screen:
  • LOW (Left) Controls the bass. Raising this will make the low-end punchier and warmer.
  • MID (Center) Controls the core of the sound, including vocals and most instruments.
  • HIGH (Right) Controls the treble. Raising this adds clarity and brightness, but setting it too high can make the audio sound sharp.
