iOS 27 Beta 1 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Not true at all. It has been a known issue that varies with updates that it will autocorrect to the wrong word or words. I always double check my posts, emails and messages and still it bites me once in a while. It happens even when using my MKB on the iPad.

I am not talking about predictive text, re-read the post please.

This is the most hilarious defense to Apple’s terrible keyboard till date.

Is it the user’s fault when the autocorrect replaces the word two before the current? How could anyone “overshoot” something they typed 2-3 words ago?
I could count on one hand when I was able to slide-to-type the word “forest” first correctly, including now. It’s the same even when I slide over the exact letters. Another example is guess which iOS predicts to be goes.

These are not something you can defend.

Again: Re-read the post. I am specifically not referring to predictive text or autocorrect.

I just tried (system language is English, but also have German installed) and it hasn't a clue. I assume your system language is set to German.

No system language is EN-US aswell as region, I only have German in the Siri Settings - Messages - read message.

Tbh I kind of like the default female voice. When it's tunable I might see if I can get a little closer to "valley girl" but I'm not complaining.

Anyone having issues enabling wifi calling? On t-mobile and wifi calling is disabled when I go to enable I got the location confirmation but wifi calling stays disabled

I'm on US Mobile with both Verizon and T-Mobile eSims. I switched to T-mobile just now and Wi-Fi calling popped in almost immediately.

It’s normal, will appear when beta 2 is out. Last 2-3 years was the same.

Anyone test out CarPlay yet?

Works flawlessly on my aftermarket Android stereo. Wireless CarPlay. Google Maps made some needed improvements too for a cleaner look. Apple Maps looks the same thus far.

I installed this on my Iphone 17 pro max yesterday and noticed that Wi-Fi keeps randomly disconnecting when its in use, so if i try and playback any content over Wi-Fi it disconnects, then re-connects again after a moment or so.

Interestingly, it only happens when playing back files locally over wifi, if i use youtube or anything else its fine.

It was perfectly fine before i installed this update, anyone else noticed this? Restarting the phone or router has had no impact.

It keps crashing for me but I simply removed the device and restarted the pair process and it's been good since.

Over 24 hours later, and now my 16 PM has started indexing. It’s also now showing the “Set up Talk to Siri” message. Still on the waitlist for the new Siri.

Performance has been great so far though, other than a few very minor bugs. No issues with my apps, CarPlay, etc.

Yep on my m4 iPad Pro I have new Siri and all, and the 36 hours plus indexing but my feedback assistant will not listen somethng is going on with servers this morning as I read around

- iPhone 17 Pro - never saw the indexing message. Assuming it is done.
- EQ Not seeing it - Do I have to be on the AirPods beta?
