Siri finally dropped for me about an hour ago!

In my first uses, it doesn't always dismiss after responding - it'll spin on top indefinitely and not respond to new requests until I fling it out. I'll have to dig into some of the Siri threads, now that I'm in..

The morning after installing, my indexing appeared completed. Then later that same day, it started up again - and hasn't finished yet on its round two.. seems stuck?

The old Siri did that too. It was a setting that was something like "followup". Sometimes it would get stuck. The way to dismiss Siri - just say "thank you", "that is all", or even "go away".

Or it may be a bug, in which case just fling away.

Did you leave your phone on the entire time? I always power off at night. Probably why mine still isn’t done. I installed immediately after Keynote.
the advise about indexing from apple is to leave it turned on and plugged in as much as possible. so maybe leave it on at night . ( also never ever seen anyone say they turn their phone off at night - well not since the time of dumb phones

Is anyone experiencing issue where 3 dots you click in upper right corner of Apple Wallet for Apple Cash to add or transfer money is missing?

Not too thrilled with quite a bit of the design changes. I absolutely hate that they replaced iOS 26's blurred navigation bars when scrolling with the harder "pre-iOS 26" backgrounds. Would be nice to have at least an option for this.
This. ⬆️ Just updated and the solid nav bars are jarring. Everything in the UI is bubbly and round and distinct except for giant linear slabs of blur at the top now? This feels like a step back…

I have Meross MS110 plugs, only showing 0.00KW though in Home on appliances turned on, shows usage in the Meross app in real time but not in Home.
I’ve got two of those, hopefully Meross will update the firmware so it is visible to Home. I’ve now got more of the IKEA plugs as well, hopefully they will work as cuttingly I can’t get any energy info from them.

Indexing theory: I’m wondering if the long indexing times are due to Apple now including photo indexing in the overall process, rather than treating it as a separate process in the Photos app? With previous OSs my photo indexing has usually taken a couple of days, with the People feature taking even longer - but the message about this progress was hidden away in the photos app.

New Apple Pay animation 👌🏻

I’m probably nearing 50+ hours of waiting (and indexing) myself, tbh I’ve lost count at this point. 🙃
Don't know why people keep relating approvals with indexing. Mine is still indexing and I was approved for the new Siri in the first night.

Indexing is because of the new index system in iOS27. Siri AI is another thing. Despite the new Siri takes advantage of the new index system.

Yes old Apple Intelligence is replaced by new Siri.

You will need to change your region to bypass the EU geolock.

region change will not help alone - you will need a non-EU - preferably a US based (US billing address) Apple Account (AppStore) - but Switzerland and UK will allow to get on the waitlist too.

you haven't lost all Apple Intelligence - it will simply stay/fallback on the old Siri with the glowing edges and writing tools after it has finished downloading.
Weird. I even changed the region and language, but Apple Intelligence has disappeared for me. I'll investigate further.

Can someone confirm that you should be able to get Siri AI working on a phone in the EU if you set the region to USA and the language to English? This workaround worked on the iOS 26.0 betas (if I remember correctly)

Yeah I agree. Just sharing that I’m still dealing with both in tandem is all. Nothing’s changed yet for me, but hopefully I get off that waitlist soon! 🤞🏻
