Came across a random bug when long-pressing App Store icon. Usually there is a list of actions (Redeem, App Updates, Purchased, etc.). However, sometimes this list would not show, showing just the upper section (Edit Home Screen, Require Face ID and Remove App) and nothing else (see the pic). At the same time long-press options in other apps (Mail, Safari, Music) remain intact. Can’t see a clear pattern as yet, feedback submitted.

Some updates from me, after a few days of playing:

1) I logged a Feedback that Siri can't access my health data (UK region)

2) If you're having WiFi dropouts, try turning the new "Connectivity Assist" option off. It may help.

3) Weather app on MacOS can't be configured to show temperature/conditions as default. FB logged.

4) Dragging an app icon to a home-screen won't allow duplicates. All other instances are silently deleted. Workaround is to drag icons from the App Library. Bug existed in iOS 26 too. FB logged (again)

5) Screenshots can't be cropped at the point of saving. Mentioned loads of times above.

6) I have a shortcut which reads out my steps (that works, unlike 1 above). If I've walked a low number which looks like a year, Siri reads it out as such! "You walked nineteen eighty seven steps today". Duh. FB logged.

7) My iPhone 17 doesn't have much data on it, and it's still saying it's indexing. Whatever it's doing, it's doing extremely slowly. However, it doesn't appear to affect anything, as I got the new Siri AI yesterday (UK region, Switzerland location).

8) I love the new shortcuts method of combining shortcuts and automations (automations show as a trigger on top of the shortcut, but running it manually just skips the trigger). Shortcuts has been the thing I've played with the most.

I didn’t have access to health with Siri. I changed region and Siri language to US English and now it works. (Looks to be US only)

For the love of God, please stop the “still indexing” posts. Just post when it’s done and how long it took for the message to disappear.

Thread is getting derailed with >60% of the almost 1300 posts being about people bragging about indexing more than 24hrs later. Please focus on the actual bugs.

I don’t see this changing any time soon. This has been the case with Siri and health data for years. Unfortunately, nothing new. Absolutely no reason why Apple can’t implement this, they just seem to be US centric with so many things these days.

Completely agree. I am sick to death of posts saying still indexing, when will it finish, how long does it take!!! Half of this thread could easily be deleted with all of these repetitive posts. I’m going to start reporting them now and see if the mods will tidy this whole thing up for us.

My only real gripe is not being able to arrange icons. I can move a folder (barely), but individual icons snap back to wherever they were when I updated to B1. Same for new apps downloaded.

Indexing theory: I’m wondering if the long indexing times are due to Apple now including photo indexing in the overall process, rather than treating it as a separate process in the Photos app? With previous OSs my photo indexing has usually taken a couple of days, with the People feature taking even longer - but the message about this progress was hidden away in the photos app.
This is exactly my thought as well. I believe that part of new indexing architecture, apps can now register indices and index processes to a central spotlight indexing service rather than each app having to create the index themselves or something.

BUG: If you take a screen shot and immediately crop using the post screen shot UX, it won't save the crop, just the whole screen shot photo. Caught me out the first time.
That was a bug I ran into on my iPad a lot a year or so ago. Looks like it’s back. It’s happened several times now, again on my iPad. I do not have 27 on anything else.

Are there any Calendar widget improvements? I'm still waiting for Apple to just rip off Fantastical's widgets as I vastly prefer them but don't want to use Fantastical.
This is the first thing I checked because I feel the same way. Really wish Apple would implement some of their widgets. Especially the bigger version with the full month calendar and your list of events next to it. Or the full calendar with the heat map.

Sadly all we got was an extra large version of the events list widget which takes up your whole screen

Also not sure why Apple doesn’t let us change the calendar default app, is there is technical system reason for this, does anyone know?

If I remember correctly taking a second screenshot and saving will revert the original back to the cropped version you initially saved. I haven’t tried that this time but my guess is it will work. All old bugs come back and are made great again.

is this release stable enough to run on a main device for people who are impatient 👀
I experiencing some issues with shortcut automations not always running correctly.
For instance, I have some automations that should run when Bedtime is enabled and when Waking up. Especially the waking up gives problems because it is supposed to run the wake up lights and alarm from my Homey smart home. I'm not sure wether the problem is with iOS 27 or with the Homey App, or a combination, but I filed a bug report in the feedback app.

This works fine for me.

I got the new Siri AI yesterday (UK region, Switzerland location.

Could you explain it a bit further, please? So your iPhone language is set to the UK English and the region to Switzerland? What about your App Store account?

Update: I shuffle between France and Switzerland and am in Switzerland right now. So I flipped the region from France to Switzerland and it offered me to try the New Siri and join the waiting list, which I just did. Let’s see how it goes, as my AppStore is still set to France.

Update 2: it did not work, as, after spending a day in Switzerland and coming back to France, the whole “Joined the [New Siri] Waitlist” section disappeared, despite me keeping Switzerland as a region. Well, I guess I will have to wait for Apple and the EC to sort it out. 🤷🏻‍♂️
