I read the inverse somewhere. The WiFi and Bluetooth should be both off, and the iPhone plugged.According to ChatGPT, indexing only happens when connected to a charger and on WiFi.
This could be why it’s taking so long for a lot of us.
I would say you need to be connected so it can index your iCloud data like Files or Photos that are not fully downloaded.I read the inverse somewhere. The WiFi and Bluetooth should be both off, and the iPhone plugged.
One of the things I hate most about iOS is using the lock screen for notifications. Even when I’m swiping and interacting the screen times out and everything goes away. With attention aware features available this just makes no sense.Ah, well, I use the lock-screen to see my notifications as that's how I've always viewed them!
I can’t get the top left to reveal notifications, no matter what I do. It just brings down the lock screen. Basically, I can’t figure out how to get to my notifications.
So oddly I had a simple automation that sent a little message to my daughter each morning. Yesterday it stopped. I looked in my shortcuts and they are all missing. It's odd as the only thing that changed in that time was that I had rebooted the phone (a normal turn off, let it sit and turn it back on, not forced).
I am going to log into iCloud and see if they are there but it looks like they are gone.
My WiFi keeps disconnecting. Turned off connectivity assist but still happens
Nope - this happens still. It seems to try to use cellular when WiFi is slow even with connectivity assist off. Defo a bugFollow these troubleshooting advices anse see if they solve your problem

Wow, how does this work? You ask Siri to do it for you, or Safari somehow detects that something is missing and uses AI to fill in the blanks for you? 😳Safari just vibe-coded an automatic dark mode extension for me that only applies when native dark mode doesn’t exist. Crazy to see this is possible!

Tap the icon in the far left of the search box, then Describe Extension. Copy and paste the message below. Its not perfect, so if you can figure out some phrases to tweak it and make it better, let me know!!How do you do it? Also, it would be great to have it for Apple Mail!

Edit: tried to multi-quote here but this site is failing me and i cannot make multi-quote work.
Applies a dark theme to websites that do not natively support dark mode. It activates automatically when your device is set to dark appearance.

Agreed. I wish there was a Notification Center in each app that showed a history of the notifications. One of the things I hate most about iOS is using the lock screen for notifications.
