iOS 27 Beta 1 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I did the OTA last Monday and had really bad CarPlay issues. Reinstalled the update from IPSW on Tuesday and surprisingly, it seemed to fix those. However, I did have one random day late last week where it disconnected, and iOS 26 was comparatively perfect when it came to connection.

At least perfect on my Air - my 16PM was always overheating and glitching out on CarPlay.

Hey guys, I have the new Siri 2.0 on my iPhone Air and I remember before iOS 27 was out we used to have word proofing when you type a sentence in iMessage or emails. It’s disappeared now we have an option to ask Siri which is dumb and doesn’t work. Anyone know? Thx
 
Hopefully this made it into the build that we might get next week 🤞🏽

Yeah it only does it for me when it's playing audio. Also some buttons don't work. For example, if something other than apple music is playing, there is a red stripped arrow button, which I assume is playing now. I push it, nothing happens. Weird. I do like how it automatically reconnects though.
 
Since updating my Air and iPad to 27, my AirPods Pro 3 keep reverting to the 80% charge limit even though I tell it to full charge and turn off all charging limitations in settings.

For the record, I did search before posting this and didn't see anything, so anyway...

Has anyone else had text messages disappear/delete when tapping them to view? I've been getting a bunch of Claude updates and each time one comes in when I tap it from the home screen it opens a blank message. Switch to the message list and it's not there either. It does show on my 14 Pro on 26.5, however.

95%! I suppose I'm almost there.. this console peek was so helpful, it kinda confirms it isn't 'just broken'

PS - iPhone Air, installed within 40 seconds of beta 1 availability =)
 
Has anyone had RCS deactivate? It was just fine yesterday and now both of my eSIMS say "waiting for activation"

Edit: Turned RCS off and back on, reactivated after just a few seconds.

Are you sure it is gone for you? If I type something in Messages, Mail, etc. I can select the text and then I see this Siri symbol:
