iOS 27 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

So I airplayed a film today and had to check tracking app (Evri) and low and behold the image on screen was a full screen app, not a screen mirroring of iphone!

It had a full screen loading page then took me to a full screen app with a new tab bar at bottom.

Have I missed this in the beta or can devs now create full screen tv apps????

Not seen any other app do this, not even apples own apps.

However tv remote doesn’t work nor does controlling my phone, very strange.

Pfft. Tap to wake has suddenly started playing up. I'm having to tap it several times in different areas of the screen for my 16PM to wake up! Anyone else had this? A hard reboot hasn't done anything, and it wasn't initially like this when B3 was first installed! Maybe it's something to do with the extreme heat we have here in the UK at the Moment?

All my Bluetooth devices randomly disconnected and disappeared from settings. Had to restart the phone.

Settings started freezing and not responding today. Never happened before and now it happens every other time I open it.

I am wondering if I am missing something here, or if it is just a bug in iOS 27 (I have sent feedback already): I still get notifications for email that goes straight into junk. I am using the default notification settings. Any ideas, please? Thanks.

Click the New Shortcut, Edit and then select the Automation tab right under Search to create a new one.

Really sucks all your personal ones are gone though!

That was it. I somehow missed it that they were merged and no explicit panel / view anymore.

I managed to recreate the essentials, fortunately I forgot what other useful automations I had for now

Maybe someone can correct me if I’m wrong. I thought Siri was supposed to be able to handle several tasks at once. It still can’t “turn on DND and set a timer for 30 mins.”

Also I thought in the Siri app, you could upload a picture and modify it like creating birthday effects. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Have iPad Pro 11 M4, iPhone Air, and AirPods Pro 3 on betas.

Starting yesterday, no issue before yesterday, I am getting AirPod cutouts during use. The sound will cut out then come back after a couple of seconds. Disconnecting then reconnecting does not seem to help. Had this happen during calls, sound playback on YouTube, and Prime.

I used a set of AirPods Pro 2 (not on betas) and had no issue.

I can reproduce this Carplay error with my iphone 17pro and a Seat Leon 5F 2018, connected by cable:
As long as the phone is "doing something" via Carplay everything is fine. Navigation, AppleMusic, Podcast. As soon as the phone is idle, it disconnects from the car after 2-3 minutes. I then have to disconnect an reconnect the cable.
Started with beta3.
For me, beta 3 has more errors than the earlier ones.

Is the transparency/glass effect in the pause and cancel buttons new? It doesn’t seem to react like glass (no aberrations at the edges of lines)

For some reason Safari has been rendering sites weirdly and not loading header images. It was on initially but has weirdly degraded. I’ve not changed any settings.

Third-party services recognized my iPad Air as an iPad Air in DB2, but it’s recognized as a Mac in DB3. Weird!

I had a similar issue with DB2, but have not had a chance to test it with DB3 yet, as I am away from my car till Monday.

Sounds like a lot of issues are popping up for beta 3. I guess it's to be expected with such an early build of a major release. It's great you guys are publishing the bugs here. Keeps me on the stable iOS 26 for now, can't handle my phone doing annoying things.
