that's every update. Siri is just as bad too.Autocorrect has been **** in this update
Are you using wired or wireless CarPlay?
I am positive it is not my cable, I am using the same cable I used when my phone was on iOS 26, however I did actually have a cable go bad on my recently, it was one of the Beats USB-A --> USB-C cables that was recommended for CarPlay, it worked perfect for like 6 months but I would drape the cable around my phone holder in the car and I think over time it caused a kink in the cable that would cause it to disconnect by moving the phone.
I got rid of that cable and went with an Anker one (also designed for CarPlay) and it worked perfect on iOS 26, this issue only started on 27 PB. And I haven't had the Anker cable but about a month or so.
Cable end contacts wear and get dirty..Actually, it looks like after all my CarPlay issues were caused by some intermittent issues with the Anker USB A to USB C cable. Yesterday I was driving another car fitted with the same cable, which (the cable) was bought later and used much less, and had zero dropouts during a long drive. So today I plugged this “good” cable into my usual car (which used to have disconnects) and drove for about three hours with zero dropouts. What is strange, however, is that the “bad” cable had no issues working in my car with an iPhone 15 running iOS 26.5.2, yet would be having lots of dropouts with my iPhone 17 and DB4. Is it possible that iOS 27 feeds more data so my “bad” USB 2.0 cable gets “overloaded” and drops the connection, whereas its younger twin manages to handle it? Anyway, I have now ordered a UGREEN USB 3.0 cable, so it should resolve it.
Okay, fair, but it’s particularly egregiously bad this update.that's every update. Siri is just as bad too.
it randomly stops working for me... it'll highlight the words as misspelled, but will do nothing about it.Autocorrect has been **** in this update

Pretty sure it was an iOS 26 featureSo I don’t know if this a beta 4 thing or if it’s been there, but I just saw it. I may be oblivious, but I just found this. How long has this been a thing?View attachment 2649423
For years, although it can get pretty annoying when every device starts ringing when a call comes in. We originally just used it for iPad calls.. now not at allSo I don’t know if this a beta 4 thing or if it’s been there, but I just saw it. I may be oblivious, but I just found this. As of today, what are biggest bugs with this release? I use CarPlay wired and currently with 26.6 I have no issues. Use lots of bluetooth AirPods and other headphones, don't want issues with those. And I actually make phone calls too. Still too risky to try the Public or Dev betas?
This is the worst 27 beta so far for the battery life and heat management alone. Tomorrow is dev beta 5. I’d wait for the next public beta to consider jumping in if you have already waited this long.As of today, what are biggest bugs with this release? Same issue on this betaAnyone here using the GMail-App? Are you able to search in your inbox?
Nothing happening here after typing the query and hit the search button… ☹️
Thanks for confirming. Seems to be a beta 4 issue then. Fingers crossed for beta 5 and a fix tomorrow!Same issue on this beta

Have the same on my phone. Could imagine that it is some kind of battery saving behaviour? Not sure. It doesn’t look that nice. Let’s see how it turns out over the upcoming betas.Anyone else have an issue on iOS 27 (this could also be a 26 issue, I didn’t use 26) where using the notification centre whilst watching YouTube, returning to the video causes it to freeze for about half a second? Apple feedback marked it as intentional behaviour, but this didn’t happen on 18 and why would you intentionally want a video to freeze? Lol
