apple showcased some accesibillity features this week and one of them was voice control. Unfortunately this will only be available in English which also most likely means the new Siri will be English only for now …
That’s how it looks currently on 26.5Apple’s accessibility features announcement has new battery icon shown in the video. Also active mic indicator has a “glow” around the orange dot.

Good catch! The new battery icon matches the version you get with the percentage, so that makes sense to me. 👍🏻Apple’s accessibility features announcement has new battery icon shown in the video. Also active mic indicator has a “glow” around the orange dot.

My 15PM also shows battery percentage number in battery icon.
I feel like apple events are an incredible experience compared to google I/O(Yawnfest) and galaxy unpacked(in a basement)
I do too! You’re definitely not alone. 🙂👍🏻.I always look forward to the new stock wallpaper. Anyone else? Or am I alone with this 🥲
All signs/rumors point to them being ready to roll this out day 1. I think (or at least I hope) they learned their lesson from last years embarrassing debacle.I personally hope that whatever Apple shows next month, it actually happens. Don't say AI for the sake of saying AI, show us actual things that will actually be released.
Also my number wish list enhancement idea would be a unified notification center. Not having to clear the same alerts on my Mac, then my iPhone and then my iPad. One clear, clears them all......
I wonder if any of the new os is restricted only to newer devices? I have an iPhone 13 is the reason I ask. I've been running it on the beta program for years so fully planning to download next Monday and take a look. But I believe the newer devices have more RAM, might be necessary for the new Siri? Not sure.
Yeah, though keep in mind that those are cloud-based. Things like personal context with on-device models will definitely probably be limited to newer hardware.A good question. Hopefully the new Siri chatbot will be compatible with all devices supporting iOS 27. After all, currently they can all run ChatGPT, Gemini, etc. just fine.
Complete Liquid Glass reversal should be an option. For those who broke the rules of updating out of iOS 18 by accident if they didn’t want 26 or 27.I think iOS 26 tinted glass is butt ugly.
If iOS 27 truly has a glass slider, do y’all think it will be heavily tinted or frosted/blurred?
I could see glass refractions + Gaussian blur being beautiful as long as it doesn’t have a heavy tint. A slight white tint in light mode in light mode and slight black tint in dark mode would be fine too when comes with frost. Even “clear” glass always as a tint currently.
Yeah, probably the same limitation as with on device AI functionality in iOS 26: iPhone 15 Pro and newer (A17 Pro an later CPU).Yeah, though keep in mind that those are cloud-based. Things like personal context with on-device models will definitely probably be limited to newer hardware.
