I would assume the delay has to do with 26.6 and 26.6.1 and those codebases/fixes made need to be merged into the 27 beta code.

After MacOS 26.6.1 being released yesterday, I think we might see iOS 26.6.1 today.
Oh right on cue!

I was expecting to update all my personal devices to Beta 5 this week (my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro and Watch are all in their respective betas). Instead, I ended up updating the only device I didn’t plan on doing - my work provided MacBook Pro……
Ha! Same here!

Yes that’s what I am thinking, 26.6.1 today and beta 5 Monday or Tuesday.
This makes sense to me. There wouldn’t be much point in releasing beta 5 today then another beta on Tuesday. Unless they changed the weekly release day for betas for the remainder of the cycle which feels odd.

Fully-tinted is really ugly in a few areas, especially where it applies dark mode tinting to light mode components. What else are you seeing that is broken?
It wheezes, has a heart attack, and then dies if you attempt to scroll from one Home Screen to another.

I think I’ve timed it at 6 seconds before you can tap on anything after swiping to a different Home Screen.

In pulling that feedback ID up, I’m also reminded of how my cameras have vanished and that my wired AppleTV turns on at random.

Or they release today and then on the 17th, skipping next week. but chances of that are probably real close to zero lol

5 hours 35 minutes left...
I believe only 3 releases have ever been made on a Saturday. It's the rarest of all the business working days. It's probably gonna be Monday or Tuesday. I would assume they needed the extra week ahead of the weekly beta releases beginning to put the 26.6/26.6.1 fixes into the beta releases.
