If you can't get it on the 3G/3Gs I feel sorry for you because it's frikkin' awesome! Bye Bye Latitudie...
You mean HP only? Good thing I don't have a printer yet. Guess when I go shopping I'll be buying a HP. I wouldn't be surprised if this was fixed soon though. Just like with OSX software updates and adding new printers to the list.So u need an HP Printer to use airprint. What a disappointment.
You're not missing out on anything.so I updated the wife's 3gs and no crappy new text ringtones. so are they only on the iphone 4?

Your participation in this discussion would indicate you own either an iPhone or iPad and an Apple TV. You could simply use the keyboard in the remote app... I agree saving favorite networks would be good, but anyone who has an Apple TV +The ability to use the remote app (you know, anyone this iOS airplay update is relevant to), should not be complaining about typing with the small remote..
Solid updates in all quarters of iOS from iPhone to iPad to AppleTV.
Much to be thankful for.
Does anyone know if 1st generation ipod touch is compatible with this update..
I'm having trouble getting Airplay to work at all. I can push photos from my iPhone to the Apple TV, but if I try to play my home movies from the Photos app it just simply refuses to switch the playing from iPhone to Apple TV. I can get videos in iTunes on the iPhone to play on the Apple TV, but the audio is all garbled, like it's playing through a windstorm. Anyone else having trouble with this? Any ideas how to fix these issues? I updated both the iPhone and the Apple TV...
Updated my iPhone 3G, no noticeable changes. Don't have an Apple TV or an iPad. Stopped using my Macbook Pro a while ago...
I'm getting bored of Apple's marketing and selling games. Giving us half-assed features on each update, and calling the update a "major" one.
I'm soooo over Apple...the Kool Aid has lost its flavor...![]()
No, not compatible.
I have one as well and its features are getting more and more out of sync with my other Apple devices.
I have to say I'm very disappointed with Airplay. I have an iPhone 4 + AppleTV 2 and think it's ridiculous that they've effectively nobbled Airplay by making video streaming accessible only from iTunes/iPod. For god sake why? Alot of people will want to shoot some video, come home and then watch it on their TV - it is so obvious - yet Apple won't let you stream from your photo app!!!!! I tried taking my video into the iMovie app but that will only let you streaming the audio. I love Apple but why oh why do they limit the potential of so many of their products? Do I really need to wait another 6 months for this to be corrected? Then they nobble Airprint too
Mine does a little bit too but dont forget its only 256mb ram =/
I've done this for a while with a cable from my iphone (and jailbroken TVout app).If they can figure out how to also display whatever is displayed on your iphone on the TV screen for all apps, they'd seriously have something.
It's simple and easy to use without the need for an entire computer. My parents, for example. Even for me, I don't have a Mac Mini or anything connected, the Apple TV is great to show pictures and random videos when people are over. VERY excited for this feature and is going to be the killer app for iOS, I think.
