[1] Clear your cookies for me.com*
[2] Reload the page
[3] Savour the cloud in all its glory.

* The easiest way to clear your cookies for me.com is to turn the dev tools on, then choose (Develop > Show Web Inspector). Then click on the storage tab. Then click on auth.me.com in the sidebar. Then delete the three cookies from the table (mmls, lua, wmsid). Click on each one press backspace. Once done it will say "this site has no cookies". Every time you log in the cookies will get set again.
Lol, most precise way maybe, but definitely not the easiest. That would be Safari > Empty Cache > Empty.

Wait, how do I force Safari to show me the new wispy cloud instead of those boring icons??

Type in your address/password, then add a symbol like / after your email address, it will also play a nice animation

I'm a little confused - my Apple ID is not an e-mail address (it's a 'username') so when I attempt to sign in at me.com it adds @me.com to my Apple ID so I can't sign in.

I have an Apple ID from way-back-when and mine has a space in it. As a result me.com (which doesn't seem to allow space input) will not allow me to login.

I like the new mobile me page but it makes my fans go wild!!!

Someone else has this? (I'm on a 2 year old mbp)

As a bonus -- you can interact with the cloud wisps by dragging your mouse through them!

Does Apple now allow you to visit me.com on Safari on an iOS device? It's annoying to try to check your MobileMe email on a friend's iPad since you don't want to add and remove a Mail account just for a quick email check.

Why the hell do they take the service down to do the update? Google never takes Gmail down to add new features.

Taking a this service down for hours so they can very publicly update it in the middle of the day (if you live in the US) is just stupid, especially since its a service you pay for.

I just tried it and no part of MM is down...

iworks for ipad is effing awesome. I can generate a spreadsheet with Numbers in seconds. And the graphics are awesome. WOOT!
Going downtown with the girlfriend, do a little shopping and eating and when I get home I'm downloading the new stuff for ipad. HELL YEAH!!!!

Looks like they gave out about 40 days of free service. My account was due to expire today, now it says I have "39 days free".

Still not sure if I'm going to renew, but nice none the less. Still can't get it to play nicely with google apps syncing.

I got 22 free days. I wonder what the criteria is. Mine was going to expire on 5 Dec, but is now 27 Dec and clearly labeled "22 days free" next to the expiration date.

Hopefully this is the first of a gradual roll out of MobileMe features that can be used for free. Taking my data away from google would be appreciated :D

Although... iAd supported MobileMe...

Your 'Apple ID' is the same one you use for your app and music downloading on your iDevice..when they release iOS 4.2.1 you go to your settings, mail calendar and contacts, then add account, then mobile me..just like your adding a mobile me account but you put your 'Apple ID' instead of your 'MobileMe ID' and then it'll give you the FREE option of Find My iPhone! And then you can access it through the FMi app!

For the iWork suite all I want is to be able to open files in an external app. That way I can finally start a document and upload it to Dropbox directly.

Battery killer.

the new cloud is cool

Notice if you leave me.com login running in the background, the clouds stop.
Open Activity Monitor and put it off to the side. Bring me.com back to the foreground. Boom, 100% CPU usage. Go HTML5 lol.
