Woot! Nevermind! Apple TV is up for me too! Took 3 minutes to update. Streaming video now!
#3 is a function of memory limitations. When Safari exceeds its allocated memory, it will reload the next "tab" that you already had open. The phone doesn't have unlimited memory to keep web pages open, and some pages will use more memory than others.
AppleTV(2G) is 4.2.1 (8C150)
iPhone3GS is 4.2.1 (8C148a)
All others are 4.2.1 (8C148)

#2 yes, as far as I can tell.
3 - Has Safari stopped reloading every page when moving between them?
you bastards, almost an hour to download the update
why is everyone trying to get it?
Anyone else having troubles with compass on a 3GS?
I have it since 4.2.x, keeps on asking to calibrate.![]()
No problems here, make sure its not near any metal!
Can't wait to get multitasking on my iPad.........!
Would someone please be so kind to post the file names of the latest firmware for iPad 3g & iPhone 4? Also will the file name make a difference if it was on windows or mac?
Anyone get the update fer apple tv?
Don't think this would be solved - its a memory issue with the iPad. Even other browsers like Atomic Browser can only load a few pages before running out of memory.
Are the people who jailbreak the same ones who trick out their Hondas with intercoolers or put erector set spoilers on their Subarus. Let me guess, you wear TapOut hats exclusively.
thanks!
iTunes is showing an update for iOS 4.2.1 for me. Anybody else getting this instead of just 4.2?
I've been able to maintain more than "a few pages" at a time with Atomic even before the update......
/just sayin'
People still use Safari?![]()
