I found that the iPhone version of iBooks shows up under iPhone apps but whan you click it, it only says compatible with iPad and with iPhone OS 3.2 or later. It also only shows the iPad screenshots. This is odd.

Something big coming :) Thanks to @sherif_hashim for this crash (and keeping it quiet til ready!) less than a minute ago via web

is it normal for the phone not to show up under devices when it re-syncs after installing IOS4? Itunes has a window open saying "restoring music and video" but it doesnt even look like itunes is connected. Since the bar is still moving I am not touching it until it tells me to.

Only about 6 min.

Mine downloaded in about 6 min. Was super fast and easy. I also downloaded it at work which is not the computer that I sync with. No problems at all! The only question is....well I have two. Where is my ibooks app? and is the default water homescreen going to give my phone water damage? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Someone PLEASE tell me you can revert back to black wallpaper!

All of these wallpapers in the screenshots look awful!

well gotta cancel the backup because its taking wayyy to long and i have to go to work. guess ill do it later tonight ughhhhhh :(:apple:

iBooks requires iPad with iOS 3.2 & iPhone with iOS 4.0

I was unable to get iBooks on the App Store so I went to Safari and used the link from here to the Apple.com page about iBooks. When I clicked the App Store link from that page it did a cool "rotate" effect to switch from Safari to the App Store. I'm pretty sure that's new, right?

I got Pandora to play while using Safari--Cool! Now how do I turn off Pandora?!?

Double-tap the Home button, scroll to the right until you see Pandora, then press and hold the icon until it starts wobbling. Then just press the '-' sign next to the icon and it's gone.

Man am I stoked

This is great, I am already 7 homescreens down to 3! Way to go folders, and I just busted out a text while knocking out an e-mail, nice and easy like. WOOHOO!!!

I'm on my third attempt at downloading, first time errored near the end, second time it downloaded entirely but then wouldn't install on my phone becuase the download file was corrupt and now its downloading slow as hell.

What I don't get is.. when i double press the HOME button are those apps currently running in the background? if so how do I end them? if not then they are just a recent apps list?

If it is a recent list how do I know whats running?

I don't see plain black as an option, but you can use any photo you want from your photo library. So theoretically you could just create a solid black image that's the same size as your iPhone screen, drop it on your phone and set it as the Home screen background.

By default, if you upgrade to iOS 4 it will apply your Lock screen background to your Home screen as well.

Character Count

I don't know if this has been said before But i just noticed there is now an option to turn on Character count in messenger settings.

Double-tap the Home button, scroll to the right until you see Pandora, then press and hold the icon until it starts wobbling. Then just press the '-' sign next to the icon and it's gone.

Or scroll to the left and push the pause button, you should see the pandora icon now instead of the ipod icon. This shows you which audio app will play it's music in the background.

iTunes dev team doesn't know about iOS 4 new feature: FOLDERS

I sync back to iPhone some apps, and found that iTunes ERASES ALL FOLDERS.

So, don't worry to use folders if U need to sync with iTunes. :)
