not same as GM

i dont think its the same as GM. i say this because the GM didn't have any preset (lock screen) wallpapers but this official one does.

so there might be some other such tweaks

They probably made some minor change to the distribution files or build manifest, however the OS itself is likely not changed at all. Either that or they fixed some last minute bug...

The GM AFAIK was a candidate, not a final GM.

Anyway, I have found it to be pretty buggy in Cal and Mail apps.

I keep getting mail from 1970 and inbox does not refresh properly.

Cal can be ridiculously slow too.

Any news on iBooks?? Anyone have a link to it?

It is indeed the same build. There may be some minor changes, since the md5s are not the same (thanks dekadent), however the build number is the same so it's unlikely that much has changed.

I'm taking the plunge. I'll be getting my iPhone 4 on Thursday (assuming my reserved iPhone will actually be there). My wife is staying with her 3G for the time being, so I figured I'd test the new OS out for a few days and let her know whether she should update to iOS 4 on hers or not.

Of course, I'm not being completely altruistic; I'm also looking forward to playing around with it too to whet my appetite for the iPhone 4. ;)
 
DL and install complete on my 3rd gen ipod touch! :D :cool:
It took my lock screen background and made it my actual background now behind the apps. :eek: LOL it was the first thing I noticed.
 
The backing up "XXXXX's iPhone" has been going on for 10 minutes and it's like 2% done. I backed it up 1 hr ago and it took 1 minute on my 3G. Is anyone else getting this long backup? Can we just click "stop" and it'll continue to install without this backup?
 
Which will be the first desktop computer to run iOS?

A bit of old-school computing and OS X died today.
 
cool. now just for the jailbreak. then again.. I'm selling my phone 3GS tonight so it really doesn't make to much difference for me
