Bluetooth and Jawbone

When using a jawbone earpiece with iphone 4 with iOS 5 able to make calls ok and hear through the earpiece but not recieve calls or hear. The phone rings the incoming call but cannot answer the call. Anybody else have the same problem with jawbone or any other bluetooth ear pieces i.e. plantronics,sony...

Has anyone else had any trouble with apps that pull music from iPod/Music? iDJ and DJay had problems both on my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 wifi.

About once a day when I try to search for networks: it does not see them at all!
The only thing that helps is reboot of the device. After that in works well for about 12 - 24 hours... But I don't like to reboot my iP4 every day just to use internet!

Anybody having problems with the calendar app? It seems very buggy at the moment. I can save appointments, but saving lasts for ever. Syncing does seem buggy too. Events I created on my iPad do not appear on my iPhone and vice versa. I use MobileMe.

I came here to see whether anyone else was having this problem. Calendar in general seems very slow to pull up appointments, and saving appointments takes QUITE a long time. The "data" wheel on the status bar is moving almost continuously whenever I have the calendar app open.

I have about six different MobileMe calendars; one of them wasn't updating between iCal and my phone. I ended up exporting all of the events and re-importing them into a new calendar -- that new calendar DOES work between the two devices.

Came across an old BT headset and set it up just for fun. Found that I couldn't answer most calls; if I did, it was VERY slow to answer. Decided not to bother (sorry; don't recall the brand).

Bluetooth connection to 2011 Chevrolet Equinox

Very happy so far with the os.
Only issue so far is that my 3GS is no longer working in the Equinox.
The device is connects, the call lists and phone book are available, but when I try to make a call I get 'Unable to make call on your Bluetooth device'
I rebooted then removed and re-paired the phone, same issue.
On the phone I can see the Bluetooth connection dropping. I can force it to reconnect but it drops fairly soon after.

Beta versions always seem to have issues with bluetooth, seen
It happen every year. It'll resolve itself by release

More than once, I've had my phone freeze and go to the blank load screen [for about 5 seconds] when in the timer alarm goes off.

Sometimes, I won't get any notifications for things, and then I'll randomly get a big chunk all at once [signal is fine the entire time]

Twice, I've had safari not allow Ke to hit 'cancel' to back out of the address bar. I've had to hit 'go.' one of these times, safari froze all together in the 'greyed out' state.

I know keyboard accuracy has been mentioned, but a particularly annoying thing happens where you can't cancel the autocorrect, and you have to just give up and let it correct the. Dlt and type again.

Reminders on multiple devices?

I have iOS 5 beta running on my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 and both are pretty darn stable. I have my iCloud setup and Reminders turned on for both devices. When I set a Reminder on my iPhone, it will show up on my iPad 2 automatically. However, the alert only goes off on my iPhone 4, despite having the exact same settings for Reminder Notifications on both devices.

So I set up a Reminder and set it to alert at a certain time. It will go off on my iPhone 4 just fine, but not on the iPad even though I can actually see the alert on my iPad if I open the Reminders app.

Is this the way it's supposed to work or is this a bug? If I'm using the same iCloud account on both devices, I would think the alert would go off on both devices, just like a Calendar event alert does.

I haven't tried it the other way around (setting the alert up on my iPad and then seeing if it goes off on my iPhone).

Has anyone else noticed this?

think it's just a beta glitch.

I'm surprised there are no BSODs on iOS5 yet. Everything seems pretty smooth for a beta. I think Apple's focus on quality before a beta releases is pretty good. If this was MS, I would probably be dealing with Bootloader hangs :D.

On my iCloud settings panel it just says "Verifying" and has my Apple ID as entered in the set up.

The App Store, etc is all fine but for some reason the iCloud bit never verifies, so I just delete the account from iCloud. I thought it wasn't actually up and running yet (iCloud) yet some here have mentioned having it set up?

i set it up ok, i know some people had problems, read that some just redid it, some restored and set up from fresh and it worked as had problems restoring from a backup then setting up iCloud.

you set up totally as new? or restored from backup?

Specific issues I have seen....

(Running on iPhone 4)

  • Keyboard staying on home screen after typing password on App Store
  • Popup asking to select wifi network even when one isnt available
  • Frequent crash to desktop from safari and other apps (to be expected)
  • Generally sluggish.
  • Keyboard is very inaccurate... wrong keys typed much more frequently that previous versions.
  • iCloud is setup on this phone and an iPad 1 (Also iOS 5).. Address books have different contacts in. some are missing on the iPad.
  • Notifications can sometimes take days to appear. other times instant.

On a side note, if Apple really want this to be a PC free device, they need to let you edit and delete photographs that werent taken on this device. They need to release a full iPhoto for iOS next.

Eagerly awaiting next beta to see how they are progressing.

The only time I had any issues like you have listed was when I restored from backup after restoring to iOS 5. Since doing it as a fresh install, it's been almost perfect.

The only notifications delay problems I've had were with the Facebook app, but that's Facebook for you!

Had a weird bug this morning while on MacRumors.

The ad at the top of the page went all corrupt with green/blue horizontal lines ... like it was glitching big time. Reset the phone, still there. Closed Safari completely, still there.

Loaded it now, some four hours since first seeing it, gone.

Anyone else?

Anyone else's battery sucking hard? Used to be able to go half the day before hitting 80% with solid usage. I've hit 70% twice today.

Also, I have no wallpapers, only the pictures taken since the restore in the camera roll.

Mine too! I thought it was just me but my battery on my 3Gs is dying so fast! Hope apple fixes this! I cant always be plugged in. It's a MOBILE device...

When I receive a call, the springboard will reset on the phone and then it will resume the call. This get's pretty annoying. The timer counting the duration of the call will go crazy and show random numbers. Has anyone else ran into this problem?

i dont know if this has been mentioned yet but when someone sends you an mms picture and you press save. It doesnt save. Well atleast not for me.
