Cry more. Or switch to Android, nobody cares that you don't like iOS 6. The vast majority would disagree.
I don't buy that. I'd bet a lot of money that the Internet would be in an uproar if iOS 7 doesn't include a system wide design overhaul.
As for missing features?
3rd party notification center widgets; as well as new Apple ones like Wifi & cellular toggles.
3rd party Siri integration, and some seriously beefed up native Siri abilities. Like, twice what she can do now. Plus the 3rd party stuff, approved through the App Store.
(NC widgets also approved via App Store)
After doubling Siri's capabilities, which are underwhelming at best; how about an equally drastic improvements to Dictation. Including clear, concise, and well publicized grammatical commands. So that it can actually be used for writing a paper like profession software rather than just the occasional paragraph one has to correct anyway. I know there's sentence structure commands now, but they don't always work. they've been changed on us a few times. and I'm still not sure why they onlt work half of the time. Like "cap that" or "new line" or "open quote," just to name a few.
So a standard list ghat actually works for Dictatjon would be an important part of that drastic Siri improvement desperately needed..
Oh. And why open safari for a Google search? same with Wikipedia? Whh can't that be pulled up like Wolfram Alpha? and speaking of Wolfram Alpha inquiries have to be phrased very particularly, even sometimes not working when giving the command "Wolfram Alpha" when I know full well the query is in there.
Oh! And a fix for the whole Facebook calendar birthday fiasco. A way to save a friend's FB data right into the iCloud contact, by manually choosing to do so. So that fb info can be on the iCloud contact as well. Same with their Facebook photo.
And the ability to disable certain Facebook friends from showing in either contact list.
Those are things iOS 6 desperately needs.
Perhaps the doubling of Siri/Dictation features and accuracy could wait til iOS 7.
But iOS 7 is almost bound to be an iOS overhaul. What with Ive calling the shots. And if its not - people will be pissed. mark those words.
and no I'm not gonna switch to Android if anyone wants to act like all is perfect and nothing needs changing. I had an iPhone since the day it came out. Gen one. Edge only, no MMS, & Apps didn't exist. And, in terms of basic design and organization I have had the same exact phone ever since. Albeit, it came into its best possible form. But now, it's time to go for a new look. Once you have little more to add you reinvent. the alternative is stagnation.
