Just non-critical bugfixes, perhaps.

If they were holding it for a new feature, my bet would be on some kind of cloud service. Perhaps music related, given the number of tweaks around music playing and lock-screen controls recently.

I dont understand apple's recent strategies. They need to get their existing services right before releasing new ones, they are becoming more like google.

I don't know if it was like this on previous betas (didn't pay much attention) or if it's because I switched iPhones, but I don't get the purple glare anymore.

By services, you mean.... Siri and Maps??

Siri - slower than google's voice search, or sometimes it just refuses to work
Maps- need I say more?
iTunes Match- still has glitches for many users
iMessage/iCloud- Goes down at least twice a month, how reliable /s
App Store (iOS 6) - still crashes when I try to load the 'purchased' section on an iPhone 5.

"It just works!" NOT

Well, iCloud syncing across all devices works for me, although photo stream may not sometimes.

Maps sucks for my country. Don't use iTunes match so can't comment.

Yeah, hope 6.1 or iOS 7 patches up some of these stuff.

Apart from iTunes Match (which I dont use) all other sync are working seemlessly for me and the battery is doing wonders !!

Here's a picture I found of the purple glare from a while ago, and here's a recreation of it that I just did.

I got close to 10.5-11 hours on my battery yesterday.. I'm loving this beta. Time for a new one today!

Anyone noticed that the 'share' button on the App Store (the small rectangle with arrow at top right) has been damn inconsistent in the betas? This is whilst on an apps page btw.

It has worked once I think. Can someone check it out for me?

Couldn't see if anyone answered you... but that share button is crap on 6.0.1 too - doesn't work sometimes, until I go "Back" then tap the app again, it occasionally works then..

Only thing I might agree with you: quick access to settings toggles. As for the rest, I believe only a minor percentage of people worldwide would want that, so not "worth it".
I also want the toggles, and the text message info on all message :)

Is it specific to beta 3/4 that I cannot hit that stupidly small X in safari when it says it finds an app for that website. For example it shows the YouTube app installed and a little x that just does not want to be pressed. It always just opens it regardless of where I try to tap it. I didn't try it on iPhone but I think it works fine there, but on iPad 3 it just doesn't.
That damn thing. I was on the apple store looking at refurbed + clearance lines (I don't think they're in the app) and I tried 4 times to hit that cross thinking I was just being stupid missing it!

What kind of usage is that? Wifi? 3G? 4G/LTE? Airplane mode and music?

Can anyone tell me if 6.1(any beta) fixes this bug:
https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1517054/
Message attachments/media not actually getting deleted when you delete the message from the messages app. Not sure if it's just iMessage media files or SMS/MMS too. Taking up iCloud storage space

Mostly Wi-Fi, with an hour or two of LTE. Everything always left on (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, push e-mail etc.).. Mostly Facebook, twitter, safari throughout the day.. Some light music listening here and there.. VERY impressed with battery life so far!

Number of points:
1) Apple needs to crank out these betas and updates in general. I am at CES looking at samsugs exhibit and they have insane devices running insane OS's that make apple's look like it was designed by kindergarteners.
2) Testing B4 on and itouch 4 and 5 it runs smooth and battery life doesn't drain as fast
3) App Store and music app crash like no other and many features crash the apps.
4) considering how much iOS 6 was a dud they need to stop upgrading iOS 6 and move onto iOS 7 which was rumored to have a new lock screen that's "personalizable." (Like anything of apples is personalizable) and they really need to take advice from @Pod2g @musclenerd and @saurik and make an open iOS that you can actually personalize. The thing is people can't express themselves on thier iPhone as of now but if they could it would be an image of themselves which would draw more customers and keep current ones because it is tailored to their usage, style, and feel which is essentially what gets repeat consnsumers generation after generation

Apple would do so better than they could imagine if they just allowed more personalization and customization to their devices to make each person feel more "at home" with thier devices.

Apple's devices are all meant to be simple, and if you didn't know by know, "simplicity" is kind of like the mantra of the company when it comes to design the software. Since they make both the software and the hardware of their products, they can better optimize them and provide a better experience than their android counterparts. That's kind of why the iPhone 5 may only be dual core but is still able to run so smoothly. But I also feel that they can and need to innovate more in this area.

Highly doubt that the large amount of profits from iOS devices is gonna motivate them to do more in this area though.

Wait. By "insane OS's", are you referring to TouchWiz/Android and Windows 8? They didn't introduce any new OS's at CES...
