I've found in whatsapp for example
It goes to my earpiece and I have to click an icon twice before it comes to the proper speaker phone. Maybe this is the same for you?

Continuing WiFi issues on my 4S.
It disconnects me frequently on every wifi network I've tried. It doesn't seem to matter what I am doing, my phone will just drop Wifi connection and switch to 3G. There's nothing wrong with the wifi, working on my MBP and BRDVD streaming Netflix.
Just randomly my phone will drop Wifi and switch to 3G. When I go to Wifi settings, the network I was on will have disappeared, and will only appear after a few minutes have gone by, then I can reconnect..temporarily..

I've noticed I am having a tough time hearing anyone through speakerphone. Even just sitting in a quiet area, I can hear but it just seems like it way to low.
iPhone 4S: I had the same issue with updating with the US app store. I worked around it by going into the app store and finding the app that was "waiting", and clicked on the installing button twice. After that, it resumed installing it.
I'm having the same issue on my iPhone 4S. Can't seem to get Siri to give me turn by turn navigation nor can I see navigation from my lock screen.

Fix for Maps Crash in Search
Took a shot in the dark and figured maps was trying to access something new when you started typing in the search field. Looks like it has trouble with Facebook contacts. If you go to settings and go into the Facebook settings and turn off the Facebook integration for Contacts maps searching works immediately. Was failing me 100% of the time. Now perfect!

Is anyone having an issue sending picture messages to other non iPhones? after installing iOS 6 friends that have android phones on other carriers are not getting my pictures. My girlfriend for instance, it worked the first few days I had iOS 6, now it says it gets sent on my end, but never shows up on her phone ( Only with newly taken pictures). But if I send her an old picture, it goes through, but she has to save the picture to her download roll. It won't appear in her messages app. ( She has an HTC Amaze on T-Mobile) A co-worker of mine, said he was able to receive the picture and he has a Droid X on verizon. Another friend of mine has a Galaxy S2 on Sprint, and was able to get the message, but then gets an error that no media can be displayed. Another friend has a Black Berry on Sprint, and didn't get the picture at all. Another friend with some android phone on verizon, was able to view the picture, but she said it showed up as a slide show kind of thing, but was still viewable. Anyone that has an iPhone that I sent a picture through on iMessage, came through just fine without any problems. I tried to google this issue to see if anyone else was having the same issue, but came up with nothing. I started to notice this issue Friday night (6/15/12) I reported the bug issue to apple, and hopefully they read it and can correct it for beta 2. Some apps stop when phone goes to sleep or if you switch in between applications. For instance, Web Albums stops uploading when the phone sleeps. Slacker stops caching stations when you switch to another app or when the phone sleeps. Crunchy Roll stops playing a show when the phone sleeps instead of running in the background.

I found that after I turned the contacts integration of Facebook back on it did not break the maps search function. Maybe it just has to be turned off and back on???

It would crash upon enter my PIN. On the newest update it just displays a black screen with a black glossy bar at the bottom.

Can you post a quick step by step of what you did? Are you doing something specific to get the features to work, or did you just look for directions and lock the phone?
No, "it just works".
But really I have not noticed a problem with navigation just the maps not loading satellite images.
I did a quick search for Pikes Place and this is what I got.

Well if you turn back on the switch to allow maps to use contacts it fails again. Just keeping mine off!
So, this may be a newbie question, but will apple release a beta update or will it just be this version until it goes public in the fall?
Also, when they say "fall" do we think September or later?
There will be many betas until Oct, when the phone might be released. Based on last year my guess is Oct. No one really knows.
