General iOS 7.1.1 Jailbreak released

As an aside, I use my wife's computer for this jailbreak. She has an older version of iTunes. Popup windows constantly remind her to update.
Even so, this jailbreak went through without issue or flaws on both my iPhone and iPad.
 
I gave it a go.. I'm jailbroken (iPhone 5s 7.1.1)!!! Used the english version of the tool. :D

edit: I;m on an iMac, but I ran it using a Windows 8 VM (Parallels )
 
Anyone have issues with Multitasking Gestures? They don't seem to work at all on my rMini after JBing 7.1.1.

Edit: just had to reboot:)

I just upgraded my 4s to a 5 and I'm astonished at the speed increase. Very happy with it. I think your 5 is fast enough. Sure, the camera in the 5s is better and you get the fingerprint thing, but is that worth it? My opinion, wait for a 6 when they're a good deal.

Welp..

Barked at the moon, Entered the Black Hole, buzzed the tower, and did the Ewok dance after defeating the Emperor…

And came out good. My 4S (GSM) is jailbroken on 7.1.1. F.lux, openSSH, OpenSSL, and MobileTerminal are all on. Just have to wait for YahooWeatherIsBetter and MyWi to update, and I'm all good!

how did you do that? i tried but it told me "error itunes cant be located". did you link your regular itunes somehow or installed one on vm?i tried installing it on vm and it failed... is there a trick to it?

Just install it on VM. It should work. You have to connect your phone and press trust on the phone when it pops up.
 
So there's a problem. I managed to install iTunes on my vim because paralles didn't work at all. But my phone isn't showing up on the iTunes in vm and the jailbreak isn't starting when I click the "jailbreak" button.

I wouldn't do it, specially for a Phone where you don't need that much processing power. Upgrading just for the sake of TouchId is not worth it IMO.

Wait for the 6. Probably the Jailbreak will be out again by then, at least that's what I'm doing
 
If i jailbreak, is there a skin that gets rid of the flat look? I have never been a fan since Ives releases it. Id like to go back to the previous style....
