Just a question: After upgrading to ios 7.1.2, you have to restore as a new iphone or can you restore your backup and then jailbrake with this Pangu?

Personally I've found restoring the phone and then jbing easiest. After it's jb just restore it from Cydia.

Sorry but it's not totally clear, did you just click 'update' or?

Asfar as PP goes, SWAT teams aren't going to kick your door down because you installed it :p

Anybody have terrible battery life on 7.1.2?? iOS 7.06 was really bad, but I updated to 7.1.2 last weekend and it's been horrid ever since, I'm down to nothing after only 2-3 hours of use!

Check your Location Services. Some of those may have been reset, and turning them off should fix it.

BL.

Did you restore from backup? Also, what device are you using? If it's an older device and/or you've restored from backup many times over, it might be time to restore as new.

FWIW, I always restore as new. I use iCloud to "sync" my data back but I don't restore from backup. I prefer starting fresh. Only thing I always make sure to do is backup all my games so that if and when I decide to install any of them, I can quickly and easily restore the backup and pick up right where I left off :)

Checked into it, nothing appears to be different..

iPhone 5, and yea I restored from a backup, got tired of having to spend hours re-doing everything and losing so much info (games).

I might've posted this here already, but has this happened to anybody else?

Basically, the phone app is missing all of the buttons after I answer a call... And it always seems to happen on calls where I wanted to use the speaker.

Do you have Winterboard installed? Most often those are theme issues.

What all do you have installed then?

Unless someone has a better suggestion, you should just restore and jailbreak and install them one by one to see what causes it.
A pain, but easier than uninstalling each and potentially something goes wrong there.

That's actually what I did for 7.1.1. I installed each tweak individually, doing full reboots, etc. For 7.1.2, I installed every tweak in one large batch (surprised the installation didn't fail at some point, but everything installed normally).

So you discovered the tweak that it started around?

No... I wasn't going to call myself after installing each tweak. Who knows how long it would've taken, considering that sometimes the bug happens, sometimes it doesn't.

I'm obsessive enough that I would test each. Good for you for not having OCD haha.

Anyone notice on certain programs such as facebook, bitesms and email (to name a few), predictive keyboard slows down the iphone when typing? I turn it off and phone works fine. This didn't happen in ios 7.0.x jailbreak. However, I'm using tapatalk now and it's not slow.
