Can you tell me if any of this is true?

One brave Redditor installed the Pangu iOS 7.1 jailbreak with success and even documented the process that’s required to jailbreak successfully, which is pretty in-depth and it seems it’s not as easy as the Evasi0n method. Also, the user found a lot of bugs, including certain apps crashing and not all of the jailbreak tweaks worked properly, most likely because they’re not updated to work with iOS 7.1 just yet.

Other users are also saying that you can’t currently purchase jailbreak tweaks in Cydia with this jailbreak, but you can still download free and already-purchased tweaks without a problem.

Yes that's understandable. I'm more concerned about the fact that the jailbreak doesn't let you install anything from Cydia?

The jailbreak went just fine. Most of the apps, although they warn of u incompatibility, work just fine.

I am planning on keeping the jailbreak without Amy tweaks for a day to see the stability and then will start installing tweaks as they get updated.

Over all no issues since the last two hours of jail breaking.
 
Jesus christ, if you're so unsure just don't do it. Nobody's pointing a gun at you. That being said, release works JUST fine. Fantastic jailbreak
 
Personally I am waiting till 7.1.2 is released then I'll update and Jailbreak. No point to make the effort if I don't have to ahead of time or do it twice.
 
Anyone else having trouble installing tweaks and things? I re-jailbroke and it still doesn't work? Anyone know how to fix it? I've searched and the solution of reinstalling mobile substrate doesn't work.

I am able to get most thing working. However, I did notice I'm unable to purchase anything new. Is there a workaround for this? A way to purchase them through a Cydia website perhaps?
 
I've only installed a few things from the list that have been confirmed as working... everything is going smoothly so far.

Hoping for an AdBlock update. :)

Status bar is actually ayeris, I accidentally mixed them up (ayecon/ayeris .. Aye!)

Also if you must know, not pictured, my icon theme is Gleam :D

Well to be honest, I wouldn't be happy if someone used my work and produced something as their own with a tiny thanks to line. That said, he's more upset because of the public release than the lack of credit. He enjoyed holding this one over people's heads.
 
Everything works fine on my 5S although safari closes if I try to upload picture to this forum by pressing choose picture. But that's no deal breaker lol,
