Anyone else's camera crashing?

I launch the camera and boom... nothing. Then the apple logo.

Just kidding, it looks actually functional for the first time ever.

Anyways, they rearranged Control Centre slightly.

Mine looks nothing like that on an iPhone 5 or iPad Mini

Edit: He had the device turned sideways, nevermind :)

Anyone noticed the Voice Memos app icon "shimmers" when icons are in the move mode?

Now, where's the next DP for OS X?! I'm loving it already, but ****, there's no doubt it has a long way to go. My console looks like a Chinese telephone directory.

I doubt its a feature, it looks more like the result of those teeny lines.

Wonder if they have fixed the 60+% cpu usage running all the time and draining the battery and making the phone hot.

Guess ill have to install and find out :D

Is anyone having an infinite loading loop of macrumors.com in iOS7 beta 2 - happens Safari, Roccat and Chrome (all three browser I have) it's really annoying.

Also can't remove or delete apps as every time I hold down it resprings  anyone else having these problems?

Yes. MacRumors... What's going on? Infinite "mobile theme" toggle is displayed.

Oops... Apple hates us.

I usually poke fun at iOS. Have been doing so for years now, but this looks slightly more interesting. Haven't had a chance to play around with it but if it's as similar to Android as I think it is, then I'll look into getting an iphone 6 whenever they release it.

Not really, but you should still get it. The app developers, the good ones at least, will make this an incredibly ( and incredibly different ) exciting platform for the next few years.

It is almost like Apple is sick and tired of people copying them. One way to solve that is to radically change it and dare the competition. It will be a shame if Android and Samsung simply copy all this.

(True, some aspects of iOS 7 are spiritually similar to Android and Windows Phone, but that is all small potatos compared to what iOS 7 really is. Throwing a whole physics engine to the general purpose UI for starters is quite a startling one and should be awesome for developers to take advantage of it and make it fun to use the device )

I must be nuts, but I actually like the dots.

It consumes too much horizontal space for me. Look at the screenshots. The wifi bars are right next to the time, which looks awkward and causes other items to now be transfered to the right side of the status bar (such as the spinning loading circle). To me, having the loading spinning circle constantly next to battery seems out of place and unnecessary; it's not worth the "shine" of the dots. Granted, "AT&T M-Cell" is a long carrier title, but it's not much longer than "Verizon" or "T-Mobile".

Code:
AT&T M-Cell
Verizon
T-Mobile

The dots consume too much horizontal real estate in a place where such space is already sparse; it makes for a cumbersome status bar.

Data toggle

Please bring a data toggle for the control center. That was the only reason I had to jailbreak my iPhone. I only have 100MB of data every month so I have to toggle data multiple times per day.

I don't need a toggle for wifi, but desperately need one for data!

How smooth are the animations in beta 2?

They do seem much quicker. I noticed this right off the bat. Also, maybe some improvements with the keyboard? Anyone else? Seems as if the ' bubble' around each key has expanded.

Does anyone know if the podcast app now works better with Beta 2? In Beta 1, it would crash constantly. I can't update until I get home, as my Beta 1 won't let me accept the certificate on the wifi here at work. The button presses, but does nothing.

Still broken on my 4S, I can't update or listen to any podcasts. Another reason why I dislike that they removed it from the iPod app.

I did a quick search in this thread for "lock screen" and didn't see anyone post, so hopefully this isn't a dup...

I've been using a lock screen that has a lot of white in the background, and this made it impossible to read the displayed time except in the half second where the screen was fading in.

Beta 2 addresses the problem, apparently by making sure there are no truly white parts of the background (probably some grey overlay with opacity). It's nice to be able to see the time in the lock screen again. :)

On the flip side, using a dark wallpaper on the Home Screen now results in an unreadable set of top menu items (cell signal, wifi signal, time, etc.). Had to switch to using a pic with a light background in order to see those items.

I hope the new iDevices come with a big contrast knob so I can make the type actually legible.

Seriously, I know they're trying to look all modern and dainty, but does no one at Apple glance at the Histogram palette and think "Hey, we could use that bottom half of the color range too!"

That's so iOS 6. ;)

Would be nice though, I agree.
