Serious question... Is iOS 7 Beta 2 an 'important' release for Apple? I know, I know... it's a just another Beta release, but...

Apple has gotten a bit of a black eye for some of the design choices they took in Beta 1. Does anyone think we'll see the design mature in Beta 2, and does it need to in order to quiet the critics? After all, if the design is a "work in progress" as it has been reported, we should see the design mature over the beta release, right?

I've been using my phone as a stove top oven these past few weeks. I really hope they don't take away the feature where my phone heats up to 100*. It makes for the perfect egg omelet in the morning.

Is there anything the iPhone can't do!

I decided against Beta 1 although I am udid registered.

Hoping that beta 2 sorts out the battery issues, then I will have to jump in.

I highly doubt that they would change the look of the UI in beta 2. Keep in mind that if they did decide to change any look they would have to change every image on Apple.com to reflect the changes. I don't think we'll see any change of the UI (developer-release) until the GM. That isn't to say they aren't working on it.

I do hope I am wrong, though.

I think it will remain largely the same as far as appearance is concerned. I think all the major design decisions have already been made and now it will just be performance improvement and minor UI/settings tweaks.

If memory serves from previous betas, it typically was every 2 weeks but not necessarily at 1pm EDT. Hope it is though!

I think you're right about the major design decisions, but I'm referring more along the line of the alignment of UI elements, icon refinements, etc.

I just laughed far too hard at this. ##
