That's perfectly normal. It just means that you don't have LTE speeds, only 4G speeds.

It goes from GPRS, Edge, 3G, 4G and finally to LTE

let's put it in symbols
"o" "E" "3G" "4G" "LTE"

Verizon only has "1x" "3G" and "LTE"

Yeah...I'm thinking you guys without the LTE are just having not so good reception...updated to v3 and I'm LTE ImageUploadedByTapatalk1373332496.021965.jpg

Anyone experiencing the flashlight getting disabled for no reason?

Is frustrating when I'm walking to my bed with light off (wife asleep already), and when I want to turn on the flashlight, is disabled.

I think they got rid of the "o" in iOS 7 in favor of just using the industry acronyms: "GPRS" or "1x" essentially.

They did? I don't have AT&T anymore so I wouldn't know... ok well technically I do because i have att on my ipad but it's not on iOS 7. I thought Edge was like grps 2.5 or something, like it was a little faster than average sprint or verizon 3g.

Yeah, I noticed some people posting seeing "GPRS" instead of "o" on GSM networks (and "1x" on CDMA networks). EDGE is still somewhat different than GPRS and is more like 2.5G or even 2.75G (which is slightly below in a sense than CMDA 3G which is basically EVDO).

iOS7 BETA 3 is so much better and smoother than beta 1 (I skipped BETA 2) on my 4S! I'm surprised to find that I'm liking it now:eek::D

Maybe I'm just noticing this now, but when you have 1 unread message and you're on your home screen and click on messages, it doesn't jump right into the message (like I thought it always did previously).. *now* it opens the messages app and shows the overview of all conversations. This is great for me personally because with my read receipts on, I can delay the *read at* alert at my discretion.

Has anyone had a problem that whenever you attach a photo through imessage, it results in a crash back to the home screen?

Another user mentioned that you have to just take a photo with flash on and it'll "reset" this bug.

my siri is not working

I had to actually go into settings and re-enable Siri. Strange.

First of all - I'm really glad you explained the situation in which this was inconvenient for you lololol :D

Second of all, that has happened to me multiple times on b1 and b2... just reboot your phone

someone mentioned to go into the camera app and manually turn the flash on and off and see if it fixes it, or just try a hard reboot.

on a different note, there are ALOT of people posting the SAME things over and over as findings or potential bugs. if people are going to be too lazy to read the thread to see if it was already posted, then dont post it yourself. there are many repeats in this thread where "fixes" or bugs have already been noted, discussed or added. it just helps keep the clutter down.

- at lock screen fonts are bigger (I don't like this, hope it's a bug)
- status bar font color a bit greyish on light background (not pure black)

On a different note, if they didn't read through the whole thread to see what has changed before reposting it, what makes you think they will see your comment in an hour amongst all the others? You would have to constantly repost your comment at the end of the thread and also have it posted as the first line in the first comment of this thread to ensure it is seen... but that would defeat the purpose now wouldn't it?

I can confirm that Siri is MUCH faster than ever. As has been suggested, iOS must be dictating locally now, at least in part.

Also, the voice (female, at least) sounds MUCH more natural. I've never noticed improvements in the voice until iOS 7 beta 3.

The OS is also more stable than beta 2 on iPad mini. No crashes after 4 hours of nonstop use.

not sure if its just mine, but when i try to send a pic in imessage it takes me back to homescreen

It's been doing it for me too. Did you update OTA or from restore? I'm going to restore and see if it still happens.

UPDATE: I restored to ios 6, then shift updated back to beta 3 and the crash no longer happens

Weather is missing from the "Today" tab in the Notification Center. It's not even available as an option in Settings anymore.

On another note, I haven't been able to get Siri to work even once since I upgraded to beta 3. I will say this, though: When Siri tells me he can't help me right now, it sounds much more natural and life-like than it used to.
