When in multi-tasking the photo.app and clock.app look incredibly similar and when viewed with other app's as well distinguishing between the two is difficult.

A couple more bugs

I've noticed a new bug compared to beta 2, the calendar in notification center no longer respects time zone at 11am in the UK it still wants to show the calendar for 01:00.

Webapps seem more broken in beta 3, in beta 2 they would loose their chrome from time to time and when adding a new webapp to the home screen springboard would randomly duplicate an existing app and move the icon out of folders, until springboard crashed and then they would revert to being correct.

Now when first added they are chromeless until a reboot or a crash and then they get stuck as just links.

Overall its a big improvement on beta 2 so far.

We shouldn't be required to do these extra steps to remove the unread mail indicator.
The indicator used to work work correctly, but no longer, if you delete without reading them first.

Dont have this problem. Is it with a specific type of account?

not saying that you should, just sharing the way I got rid of mine for the time being, after all it is a beta version still and should be corrected at some point.

Weather is missing from the "Today" tab in the Notification Center. It's not even available as an option in Settings anymore.

On another note, I haven't been able to get Siri to work even once since I upgraded to beta 3. I will say this, though: When Siri tells me he can't help me right now, it sounds much more natural and life-like than it used to.

It not missing...

Question about iCloud keychain in the new beta:

they said it's fixed but i'm not sure i understand how it's supposed to work...

Anyone knows how to use it..?
I mean, is there anything i should do besides activating the iCloud keychain both on my mac and iPhone..?

should it work automatically? is there a way to access the passwords from the iPhone like using keychain access app in the mac..?

of course I have installed both Mavricks new DP and this iOS 7 beta 3...

Thanks,
Tal.

iPhone 4S - iOS 7 Beta 3 Black Screen / No hardware keys work

Good morning (or afternoon) everyone,

iPhone 4S here, working very well - everything seems smoother and more fluid than Beta 2, and I haven't yet had a forced-reboot.

Battery life seems to be vastly improved.

I am having one issue, that I haven't read in the thread anywhere:

If I am using the phone, and then put the phone down (click the sleep/wake button on top to lock the screen), sometimes randomly the screen will be unresponsive. No buttons work (i.e, volume / sleep/wake / home) and the screen just simply will not respond.

A forced reboot (home + sleep/wake) repairs the issue until the next random freeze.

Has anyone else seen this issue at all?

Have a great day everyone!

I want my live charging indicator (I mean pulsing lightning near the battery) back. Come on Apple why did you erase this little thing that makes me happy?! :D You guys think it's a kind of beta3 bug or something?

How did you put the weather in notification center????

TIA

Make sure location services are on for weather then check notification centre settings and the option is there.

Would this be considered a bug? Whenever I turn on "reduce motion" "parallex" "insert gimmick here" the status bar turns black on the home screen. And only goes back to normal when I cut it off

This is not a big deal, but I LOVE the new search bar across iOS 7 beta 3. It looks fantastic!

Is anybody else having trouble accessing Control when the keyboard is out? I just tried it in Messages, Safari and Mail. Neither would allow me to access Control Center with the keyboard visible. Bug or feature?

Swiping right on a new message from the lock screen doesn't seem to open messages for me. Just goes to whatever was opened (music for me)

How is it difficult to distinguish between the two with their icon right below them?

I had to turn location service for weather off and back on for it to start showing the weather in the notification center. Still no setting for it though.

it's a feature. why would you need the control center if you're typing? It's there in case you accidentally swipe up. If it wasn't there people would complain that the cc doesn't work like it should and it's too sensitive

That has been an issue since beta 2, with music playing, and swiping a notification, will just unlock the device, not take you to the associated app.

How do you access the wifi diagnostics?
Mine showed up on the WiFi screen, but went away after I turned WiFi off/on. I was worried for a second that I would not be able to select Other and connect to my hidden network.

It makes sense. A lot of people had trouble with it in the last couple of betas. I'm really glad iOS has a quick way to hide the keyboard.

I haven't seen this posted yet. Is this different than beta 2?
