My battery has been acting strangely. It would drain VERY rapidly with iOS 7.
Now with beta 3 it's just sucked the life out of it.
Right now, the iPhone's connected to my iMac and there is absolutely nothing going on; no Apple logo, no battery charging, no sign that it's on at all - just a black screen. Bricked.
iOS7 bricked my iPhone.
Dead.

you have to give more details than that. Lots of people seem to be running fine.

Previously next to operator text it would say "LTE" for 4G, where as now it says "4G"

What provider are you using?

I have always had 4G and LTE icons, when i drop out of an LTE location, 4G pops up.. (I think its really 3G though, just because apple rebranded HSPA 3G "4G" when the 4S came out...

apple, please get rid of those junk icons as soon as possible. but i wanna thank apple for solving the battery problem, it was really frustrating.

Why nobody talk about the Map app?
I am like the way and the look in iOS6 Map is in navigation mode. It is far more better than any GPS I used. This is the reason I tolerate the POI inaccuracy and stick with iOS6 Map.
But the new one, looks horrible. Like flat for the sake of flat.......

kind of like the map improvements. Like the world view that show night and day.

Is multi-tasking now multi-tasking?

In previous builds, when you enter the app switcher, they seemed to all be static images of when you left the app. Today I noticed that when I did that, my slingbox app kept playing the video with sound in the tiny window. Kept going even when I swiped through the rest of my running apps. To be honest, it may have done that before, I never specifically tested it. I was just surprised to see a running video on that little app card!

Cool Spotify Issue

Noticed an odd issue after updating that when Spotify is playing that if I hit the volume down using the physical keys on the side while a song is playing, the app crashes... anyone else?

That being said, I am quite pleased that the MLB app works now...

I knew they would have to up the weight on the font. At small sizes, even on a Retina screen they must look poor on certain backgrounds. They've had to go up in weight across the board to keep everything in sync.

Shame as it makes quite a difference to the style but rule number one in typography is extremely light type should only be used for display headings.

I'm fairly certain the actual rule #1 in design is forget all the other rules.

I hope someone can save the iOS images from apple.com and compare the ones from wwdc to the october release.

BTW, new download animation hides completely the app you are downloading, how will you know which app is being downloaded?

Because you put it in that spot to begin with?

Icons

The icons still suck, this is how they should have looked like: http://www.behance.net/gallery/iPhone-6-An-edgy-concept/7617209

great new feature: you can't unlock pin-protected sims (or is this just me?)

It's an intentional bug to combat people using it that shouldn't be, making people go to the developer centre to find the answer in the developer forums. Those who have legit access, find the answer, those who don't, are screwed! :p

im sorry but 7 is miles behind 6. are they planing to make the os after mavericks similar to ios 7 (i hope not), else ios7 is going to look dramatically different than osx! and they are in the same software ecosystem! ios6 was already elegant it needed some changes yes but the new thing is nothing even close to elegant or stripped; if ios6 is a maple tree then ios7 is a christmas tree!

as for these changes. well im surprised they even thought to use that nueve ultra light bullcrap in the first place, and to think it was even on a billboard, now this is a designing fiasco!

im still waiting for new icons! and a massively toned down version of the current windows aero...

And this sort of charming response, ladies and gentlemen, is WHY Apple is so secretive...
What do you think is happening at Apple right now? What is your mental model?
The graphic design part is all 100 percent complete before the slightest bit of coding happens? The OS is ready to ship, but Apple is just sitting on it for three months for fun?

You can't get a feel for how things work without trying them out. If it doesn't work, you try something else. What undoubtedly happened within Apple was someone said something like "How can we increase the density of information on the screen, when we need it?" It was suggested they use a thinner font. Someone says "that'll be too thin to read easily", someone else says "are you sure? maybe you'll get used to it very rapidly"; final decision is "let's try it out and see what we think in a month".

.com???

How is removing the .com from the safari keyboard an improvement??? That's one of the best time savers in the os.

I disagree completely. You run into a lot of spaces in URLs?

I want that button on my Win & Mac computer keyboards. .com is basically a punctuation mark, typing it out is annoying, esp on a phone.

But in iOS 7, the search/address bar are unified. so when searching, yes, there are a lot of spaces.

have you been using the beta? with the unified search bar, the .com horrible. imo, they should've kept the separate address/search bar, works better on mobile device.

So much joy, much more usable than previous betas.
Finally I don't hit the '.com' button in Safari & the Calendar app is usable again!
Found a bug, open Safari to tabs, open app switcher and then return to Safari. The background Gaussian blur is gone, and shows the home screen behind the tabs.

omg my battery life is *way* worse than with beta 2. WTH happened!? I performed the install using the update feature rather than a clean full install. Anyone else see excessive battery drain? I'm talking 1% every 3-4 minutes with no open apps.

Gee. It's almost like the OS is chock-full of debugging code, constantly running.
Who would be so stupid as to leave debugging code in a BETA???
