I'm not a fan of the thicker font...

Personally agree with you

Loved the look of the lock screen prior to thicker fonts, seems to have lost it's "beauty" with the thicker font and abnormally large status bar (which is only larger in the lock screen)

Personally hope they revert back to beta 1 and 2 look because I really did love that lock screen

I promise I'll change, just, don't ever leave me again.

D.

Haha, same reason why I downgraded back to iOS 6 again. Simply cannot live without those dots!

Actually I wrote to Mike Stern (Apple UEX) telling him about that serious usability issue, and he replied back that it was a good point, and he would forward it!

After updating my iphone 4s to beta 3 the display has started FLICKERING A LOT. It has never passed to me. I have restarted it and nothing seems to solve it. It just flickers.

Wifi issue workaround (iCloud Keychain bug)

After updating from iOS7 beta 2 to 3: My wifi was cutting in/out. (I had this issue with iCloud Keychain On in beta 2), In settings there was neither on/off next to iCloud Keychain...so I click on the arrow> and it asks for my password, put it in, iCloud Keychain on that screen takes a few secs to go from grayed out to dark gray, switch is still in off position, go back and now it is off, as I prefer. I restarted phone and now wifi stays on. :)

So, no matter your previous icloud keychain settings, you have to at least go into icloud keychain and put in your apple id password, apparently. (well, I did with my A1428 - iPhone 5 16GB AT&T.)

iCloud Keychain had big changes in beta 3 to the point of not being backward compatible with beta 1-2. That must explain it.

The big 5 dots have got to be the biggest waste of space on that menu bar :(

The battery icon is pretty huge too. Is that lightning bolt next to it for charging? Didn't that used to show on top of the battery icon?

Gee, maybe they can just add an "Over 27" default in accessibility to add SIZE and BODY to fonts and CONTRAST so anyone that's older than that and outside of their Lab can see and read the GD screen. This is a disaster for anyone with "old eyes"

Just noticed, the camera access from lock screen has some updates.
They added a more noticeable bounce effect if you release it 1/4 way up.
Also now when you do that, it only moves the text parts of your lock screen without moving the background image. Cool effect.

Going into the "Next" options inside photos is still crashing every second time. No big though.

I hope someone can save the iOS images from apple.com and compare the ones from wwdc to the october release.
IIRC, each beta has its own expiration date hard-coded into it. Even if you have a link to re-download an older beta, you wouldn't necessarily be able to run it.

Is it just me or is this .com thing in safari a major issue? I really think they should add a band above the keyboard with various options for quick touch. For example http://www.123macmini.com/news/images/newsstory1287_1.jpg In this image you can see how organic the top keyboard bar will feel.

to be honest, thats a very long carrier name. what solution do you suggest?

Most carrier names around the world are long enough to cause this issue. In my country alone we have "Pelephone" and "Hot Mobile".

The solution is simple: move it 12 pixels down!

I have noticed they finally fixed contacts no more annoying first letter in the middle of the phone!!!!

No it has been on the right in all iOS 7 betas. In iOS 6, however, the bolt is inside the battery icon.

Mail is noticeably better in appearance and functionality. Overall the whole OS feels a lot better now. Fun watching all this progress little by little.

im sorry but 7 is miles behind 6....

really?? Are you using it? Because, not only does it look better overall (some elements obviously not finished yet), but it has better functionality, including faster smoother scrolling throughout, you can now interrupt notifications by clicking on it and swiping up, etc., etc.

Besides, it is still in BETA. So many people have written on iOS 7, making conclusions, and it isn't even finished yet!! It's likely it won't be done for at least 2 more months. :p

Or, simply make it scroll like it does in iOS 6 :)

omg my battery life is *way* worse than with beta 2. WTH happened!? I performed the install using the update feature rather than a clean full install. Anyone else see excessive battery drain? I'm talking 1% every 3-4 minutes with no open apps.
