Oh boy how I hate this new LOOK. looks unfinished and very andriod.wtf happened here?! How do we go from pure elegance to child like images and WHITE everywhere. Ugh so dissapointed.

Can anyone comment whether Personal Hotspot shows up in Control Center (for those that have the service/paid for it)?
This.... would be a big help.

BTW not sure if anyone else has this issue but I frequently run my iPad off my iPhone's data via hotspot. I'll have hotspot turned on, but my iPad won't see the signal somehow. Need to toggle it on and off sometimes a few times for it to work right.

idk if this is common or maybe a hardware issue?

Does anybody know if Safari for iOS 7 still has the "Reader" function built into it? Not Reading List, but Reader.

I was unable to find how to activate it. It may be in future betas, but it appears absent for now.

Edit, another user replied and said it was there. Maybe I'm just missing it.

Can someone post what iBooks now looks like ? Both the shelf and inside an open book. Is the thin helvetica available as a font choice ? iBooks font choices drove me nuts, nothing looked good.

iBooks still has the old appearance. I'd expect it to be updated and look more like Newsstand, but that is speculation.

i may get some hate for this...

almost all new features are great additions!

not quite sure on the flat OS theme yet

biggest issue in my mind is, there is nothing innovative over what the competition is doing.. actually most of the new features were blatantly taken from competitors.

So it sounds like the 3D effects and even the transparency on the folder icons might be disabled on the iPhone 4? They are all enabled on my 4S but it seems to be noticeably warm the battery seems to be draining faster than usual.

So far, I have noticed that the swipe to delete appears to be missing from iOS 7. I don't like some if the icons and I am lukewarm on the overall UI design. I like that they did not go dark and I like that the colour changes dynamically.

BTW. I am a registered (paid up) iOS developer so I am not using somebody else to get the beta.

Has anyone seen any way to setup "profiles" such as if I'm at work, the phone will turn on WiFi automatically and lower the ringer volume, etc..?

Swipe to delete is still there just have to swipe from right edge to the left, it no longer works in either direction

I hate that we only get 6 skips even for paid versions. :( I don't understand the reasoning for limiting skips... But spotify does it too on the free version

No matter how you feel about iOS 7 ( I like it except the icons) Apple really needed this. They can improve and refine in the future but this change is like a electroshock to Apple's ecosystem and proves that Apple can still innovate.

This. It's only the beginning. People need to be reminded that they redid the entire UI top to bottom and added needed features all within 6-7 months. Some I'm sure will argue they should have waited until iOS 8 to do the full redesign to give themselves more time. But I actually don't mind that they're giving us a vision of where they want to go and then seeing it refine over time. :)

For those of you who like this, and yet say "I miss Steve," I'm seeing a lot of features and tweaks in here that I don't think Steve would have approved.

Like multitasking and quick toggles?

Happens to me ALL the time - I end up having to toggle it off/on and then leave the phone on the hotspot screen until the iPad finally sees the phone.

You'd think they could get this to work at LEAST as good as the jailbreak MiFi tether pgm - I used to turn that one on and it was ALWAYS available whenever my iPad looked for it :(

If Apple has some kind of power-saving feature where they make tethering unavailable to save power, at least they could also flip the switch to OFF to indicate that.

Very Niiice

I didn't like this while it was in the rumor stages but once it all comes together like this I can't wait for it. It will bring new life to my 4s and prevent me from having to jump ship to Samsung. Hopefully by time iPhone 6 comes around the hardware will be worth buying (because the 5 series hardware clearly is not).

Hitting the icon in the top-left corner seems to do the trick.

I'm guessing jobs would have lost his **** over this

Yes he would have said people don't need quick access to wifi and Bluetooth. Or anything on the lock screen but the time and date. That's why we didn't get useful features like that when he was around.
