I don't believe you've "used" it for nearly 14 hours at around 50%.

Seems like bugged process making your "usage" go up in standby.

I posted a screenshot of my actual usage that correlates with the actual time spent physically using the above mentioned iPod. I have no push notifications enabled for mail or any other installed apps causing it to run in the background like one would use on an iPhone. Your opinions of what you want believe have been noted but are irrelevant in this case.

iPhone 5, set up as new phone. On wifi half the time, less than an hour on the phone. Really "Meh" battery life tbh

average battery life I guess. Charged it before bed last night and it lasted me whole day at school mostly on LTE, using facebook, instagram, four square check ins, twitter, weather, email, texting. Then used it at the gym for music about an hour 30mins. I restored it from my IOS 6 backup, didnt wanna start new and lose everything.

I like how you link to the thread I CREATED.

Lol. You're a clown.

Yes, you did CREATED IT and the mods locked it over the BUGGY issue you have that you refuse to let go and drag over to this thread. Let it go.

*LAUGHS*

How many of these threads do we go through, everybody with varying results, every time a new version of iOS is released?

It's like clockwork!

Every time there is a new IOS or Mac OS. User results/stats posted on MacRumors for a new IOS/Mac OS on varying devices is useful to Apple as they do read these posts. Individual user stats can identify potential performance battery/software/hardware issues over a large consumer base i.e worldwide. Some people post to find out whether they are alone in their issue or some post to let others know they are happy. :)

I still refuse to believe you would get nearly 30 hours screen on time.

Did you really spend ALL day playing your iPod touch? Think about it for a moment  Surely you're not that deluded?

I don't want to think about it at all. I enjoy my music/video device too much for you to spoil the experience. Calling me a clown earlier and now calling me deluded gets you nowhere. Please learn some manners.

Mine has been fantastic on iPhone 5.
Restored from backup after install, and after the first couple of days, I'm looking at 7 hours of usage, 1 day of standby and 10% remaining.

Beta 6 had the best battery life I've ever had, but...

the GM is definitely worse. I actually couldn't believe how good the battery was under the previous beta. I have a pretty established usage pattern, and my phone would never get below 75% at the end of the day. On the GM, same usage, I was down to 15% at the end of yesterday. Weird.

I think it all comes down to standard use.
Now I am using the phone as usual, and have phenomenal battery life.
5Hours usage Battery still on 52%
I listened to a lot of music with spotifiy, all the time on wifi, lots of surfing.

I really feel sorry for people as deluded as you. That is all I can say.

My biggest complaint with Apple iOS devices is "just do a clean restore and do not reload your backup to fix your battery life problem."

WTF is the backup for? I'm experiencing terrible battery life as well and re-doing my entire phone to address this is a poor solution.

This isn't just with iOS 7 either, it's been this way with prior releases and needs to be addressed. Apple should be able to figure out to restore from backup without it raping the battery life of your device post restore.

I have often wondered the exact same.
What good is iCloud or Time machine, if everyones answer to a proper running machine is to "setup as new"

Batter life is amazing strong lte signal i get good battery life.. This was on my 3rd charging cycle

Battery Life

Anyone else dealing with terrible battery 25% in 2 hours

I am - I am curious if it is a glitch in the Bluetooth. As soon as I shut Bluetooth off my battery usage decreased significantly. I know Bluetooth drains batter as is, but I felt it was a lot worse.

I reinstalled iOS 7 GM, is this battery life looking ok? Or very good? Or bad? Lol

Adam.

My battery on beta 6 was good, but on GM with the same things turned off and on it was awful. I disabled the parallex and it's now even better than beta 6 (yes I know disabling parallex would be an improvement anyway).
