how about this,

allow us to set the defaults apps for Maps, alarms, calendars and browsers.

And allow developers to use their own propriety browser engines, like firefox on android.

Photos, doc files transfer via bluetooth and call blocking feature. That's all i need from my iphone 5 :)
Forgot to add about closing all running apps with one button or atleast give an option: choose after how much time it is being killed automatically :)

What would you guys like to see in IOS 7?

Personally, I don't think i'd could ask for much more. I just reviewed my jail broken tweaks on 5.1.1 and most of my tweaks was added in IOS 6.

Just wondering what everyone else is interested in.

I would like Siri to improve her accuracy, and also link to other apps within the app store- the nest would be cool.

I agree with you on the call blocking feature- that is much needed. I believe that Verizon can do that on the carrier end. Also I would like a UI overhaul.

Do you actually need to close all apps from time to time? Tried it, never noticed a difference. Online opinions are equally divided on the issue as well.

I never do; there's no reason to close any of them unless something needs to be force closed because of a crash or something similar.

At this stage, iOS 7 will be compatible with the iPhone 4. Just don't expect all, if any major features to be available.

I am guessing it will be something like IOS6 for 3GS. You simply get some piecemeal features.

However, since one of the key features of IOS7 is widely expected to be a significantly revamped UI, I expect that should apply to the iphone4 as well, allowing it to seem new and fresh again even if it doesn't get any other newer features.

You would also get iradio (since it is supposed to be a key revenue stream for Apple, no reason to withhold it from older devices), if it ever comes to fruition.

I want a "mark all as read" gesture/function - I often read messages/facebook posts on my lock screen however then I need to actually open the app to flag as read.

6.0.1 Facetime

I noticed that my 6.1.2 iphone will use 3 mb for one minute of facetime, when my other iphone on 6.0.1 will use aroud 600 kb. this really effects my connection and me usually seeing poor or no connection.
I think the update was because att started the deal with free facetime calls. anyway i can uninstall facetime and replace a earlier version like id be able to do with an android:p i like my apple i just got a mini with verizon but this ruins the whole thing. i just downloaded skype an hour ago on all my devices.

Don't know what your phones are with the increased usage but I wonder if the different capabilities of the attached cameras (higher density) result in a larger data stream and thus higher usage.

New UI (color change), Quick Reply and notification center refresh thats all apart from this nothing will change BATTERY LIFE is a must but I dont think iPhone 5S will have good battery life

Some will hate iOS cuz its a closed and nothing changed people who are used to iOS will love the iOS7 and iPhone 5

Blackberry failed cuz their was no apps and android is winning cuz of the low end phones.

iOS still holds steady cuz of its simplicity, innovation is good we need bigger screens and better features but too much options in one phone will kill it,

not every one is tech savvy may be 20% but other 80% they need a phone which will work out of the box

android is open and advanced than iOS still its not easy to figure out a simple setting that a buzzkill on android

same time features like adblock (later pulled by google) made android better, @the end of the day I need a phone which is simple and easy may may be I will buy an android nexus 10 to replace my PC but iPhone will be my phone

i'm tech savvy.... the fact it just works is the main feature I like as I don't want to be tinkering under the bonnet or breaking down as that's all I do all day in work

I greatly wish to see a new and improved UI, The Weather app icon and the Clock icon should be dynamic (just as Calendar), The weather app should look like Yahoo's newest iteration of Weather for iOS. Also I expect to see the video player redesigned to match the music player of iOS 6, with the reflective metallic buttons and be more spaced out. I honestly think that the devices supported will be a tough one, The A5 chip is a SHOE IN for support, I say this because the devices that shipped with iOS 6.0 were: (iPhone 5, iPod touch 5th gen, iPad mini and iPad 4th gen.) of those the iPod touch and iPad mini both have the A5, just as the 4S,iPad 2 and iPad 3, so I expect to see full support of 7.0 and maybe some for 8.0, ESPECIALLY if the new budget iPhone comes into fruition with an A5 chip. I think the devices to be dropped will be the iPhone 4, iPod touch 4th gen, iPhone 3GS and POSSIBLY iPad 2 (since the cameras and Siri aren't on that model, while they are on the iPad 3) just my opinion
