I don't understand why people get so personally hurt and offended by these types of Article postings.
I've been accused of that as well. Making unwarranted claims about others can be churlish as well. And don't forget the ones that get paid to come to places like this to tell people they hate the product. I would say that accounts for most of the hate.![]()

Because it's ridiculous.
iOS has the HIGHEST rate of adoption of any other OS. Saying that it's slower against itself is trying extremely hard to be negative.
It's like laughing at someone donating $100 to charity because they donated $125 last year. Seriously?
Apple® today announced it has sold a record-breaking nine million new iPhone® 5s and iPhone 5c models, just three days after the launch of the new iPhones on September 20. In addition, more than 200 million iOS devices are now running the completely redesigned iOS 7, making it the fastest software upgrade in history.
Looks and aesthetics aside it's just too buggy in its current state. I'm on a 5S and apps freeze, the UI lags, the entire system needs to restart at times. I also absolutely hate how the rotation lock is now in the fast settings menu as opposed to simply double clicking the home button. When switching angles so does the menu where you would lock it making it cumbersome to do something so simple.
7.1 can't come soon enough.
Well I'm not a big fan. As with previous iOS updates, I did it right away.
This one, I regret.
I've upgraded my 4S. Won't upgrade my iPad for a long time.
My battery life sucks....been on on the helpful websites changing what I can, but still goes down quickly. It was fine on 6.
Don't like how deleting individual message bubbles in messages is a few more swipes compared to before.
Not a fan on the new calendar view.
Don't like how I used to be able to swipe across to delete an email, but that functionality takes another step.
Even scrolling to the multi-tasking apps seems slow and not as fluid as it should be.
I do like the simplified appearance.
But that's about it.
I do, however, see the potential and I know Apple will be listening in an effort to correct or enhance it.
Cheers,
Keebler
I had all the same issues he has and I was on an iPod Touch 5 with an A5.That's not iOS7, that's your new 64 bit processor not working well with iOS7. I have a 5 and have zero crashes or issues of any kind.
iOS7 on my iPad2 seems A-OK to me. I'm not experiencing any problems at all, other than the blinding white in all the Apps that cause using it late at night to burn out my retinas.
But I wish I could revert my iPhone 4s. My battery is crap, and I've tried every suggested item I could to improve it. One thread in the iOS7 section suggested it could be due to a constantly poor cellular signal. That is about the only thing I can point to at this point. I am amazingly dissatisfied with iOS7 on my 4s.

Why did you upgrade your 4S? I didn't upgrade my 3rd gen iPad because I was concerned about potential performance issues. Sure we can knock Apple for not making it work perfect on every generation of device, but no one is forced to upgrade right away.
no surprise, iOS 7 sucks.
I guess i'm the minority.
iOS 7 is the change I was looking for.
Here's what Apple said in a press release about iPhone 5S/C on September 23.
Last year at the iPad event on October 23 Tim Cook said 200 million devices were running iOS 6. How can the adoption rate be slower if Apple had 200 million iOS devices running iOS 7 a week after the iPhone launch whereas last year it took about month to get to that figure? Are we really supposed to believe a week after that 200 million mark the adoption rate really dropped off? That's not what Chikita or Mixpanel showed.
