BILLIONS of dollars and they can't hire more people?
Meh I don't take anything seriously from a faboi such as Gruber. He's boring.
In fact he's implying that Apple is seriously mismanaged if Apple has to 'pull' engineers from OS X to iOS to finish something (as if throwing more engineers has ever helped solve a problem before - Apple did once do so in the past, but only in light of their surprise success of iOS... the success and importance of iOS is not an unknown factor at Apple today.. though in the imaginations of Gruber it is still 1997)![]()
Good because iOS needs a "significant visual makeover". I'm actually more excited for iOS 7 than OS X WhatEverBigCatsNext.![]()
The iPhone 5S was running behind so they had to pull people off the Mac Pro.
Some UI leaks would be fun![]()
I hope that it means the cheesy little animations will be banished. They are cute the first couple of times, but after that, they are downright annoying.
I hope the simplicity of it will allow it to run more efficiently, which will in turn allow the battery to last longer.
OK, OK, I just want more battery life. I have to charge my iPhone twice a day, I know I use it a lot, but it would be great if Apple didn't keep making it thinner, but included a bigger battery...
No, that's why people thought the iPhone 5 was boring.
Everything got leaked beforehand. The announcement had zero surprises.
What exactly is too complicated about it?
Lets just hope they don't release ios7 before its really ready.
Nope, unless you want mediocre or inexperienced ones.
too late for me apple. I'm jumping ship for the galaxy s4.
iMore's Rene Ritchie follows up Gruber's comments, saying that he's heard that Ive's work with iOS 7 is "making many people really happy, but will also apparently make rich-texture-loving designers sad."
So he's an Apple fanboy implying that Apple is mismanaged? Hmm?
Gruber obviously appreciates Apple but he's not afraid to point out those types of missteps.
