To dadiduekappa: Isn't that the start of the 'download full copy'. If you wait a little while does the circle fill up, showing that it has downloaded the original from iCloud rather than the thumbnail?

No. The icon show a exclamation mark. Usually it's different, you see the circle full in few seconds and the photo show in high resolution. In many older photos, it's like there is only the preview and you cannot download the full photo.

Apologies for my eyes not being good enough and not clicking into the image :)

Also how do you access of loud drive? I have it turned on in the setting but I don't see a screen like this which is shown on Apple's website. Is it not ready till Yosemite comes out?

You access it in the document viewers of apps.

Ok, i found a solution. Just disable iCloud photos, delete all the photos i saved on device and re-enabled it. All the photos still in the cloud and now are all available for download.

can we please combine both threads you've created?

much more helpful to have all the information in one post than in several. there were loads of changes in the beta 1 thread I didn't even know existed because they weren't ported to here.

I can't combine them as i'm not a mod, however it appears someone copied over the changes from beta 1. I apologize for not doing so at the beginning.

try it & find out, the udid restriction is still not in place for beta 2..a few said its been fixed, also the baseband for iphone 6 went from 1.02.02 --> 1.04.00 which backs up the early reports

I have a question: if I decide to not store photos in my device, after I see one automatically it's downloaded from cloud... And??? What's happen after? The watched photo occupies space? Or it's auto deleted after? If not I think it will be useful to have album of downloaded photos to delete them when you want and bring only stored on the cloud. What do you think?

iOS 8.1 beta 2 Fixes/Changes/Improvements

Here is the issue I'm currently having:

1. Connected to wifi
2. Bluetooth to lg earbuds
3. Playing music from iTunes Match via iPhone.
4. Still the same as I just updated to 8.1 beta 2

My phone is extremely choppy with the music and constantly just stops playing any music all together. The wifi connection at the gym is 15mbps down so it definitely isn't a speed issue based on the speed test. Worked fine on my 6, but not working with my 6+. Don't have the 6 to compare to anymore.

Anyone else having this problem and or any fixes?
