Runs beautifully on the iPad 3. I'm talking iOS 7 speeds here

Did you clean install? I don't see ANY performance difference on iPad mini 2 with A7. It's still laggy. Stutters occasionally, exiting apps, going into spotlight, rotating, safari favourite menu scrolling, etc. They all still stutter.

I also have iPad 3 too, but didn't install beta on that yet, but kinda too lazy to install it on that cause it takes quite a long time.

So again, did you do fresh install? Or did you just do upgrade? You don't see any stutter like I mentioned above?

Thanks. :)

How about waiting for the switcher animation to finish? Can you select the next card before the swooshing animation finishes?

I know exactly what you're talking about. This was actually fixed temporarily during the early iOS 8.0 betas. I remember thinking someone at Apple actually cares about performance and usability again. Of course it was promptly removed.

Updated my Air and it's running great. Don't think it's run this well since I got (I bought it with 8)

I don't know if this is new, but there is now an option in the Facetime settings to "Respond with text" for declined factime/audio calls I presume. Also, there are little icons next to the camera roll album and recently deleted album

I've always seen those icons in photos. And I believe I've always had the respond with text in my FaceTime app settings.

Well the safari flashes were fixed on my phone but now my iPad has safari flashes after the update.

Yes, someone please elaborate... My mini 2 and my friend's air stutter so much with UI in iOS 8, it's really bad considering they are only a year old. There are a lot of scenarios where the iPad 2/3 are smoother than the iPad mini 2/3 or Air. It's annoying.

Saw this thread and went to update and saw this. I'm confused.

Checked in settings and current version is 12F5047f.

Anyone still have the status bar going in and out at the top when unlocking using Touch ID or passcode?

Is 8.3 Beta 4, Build 12F61 or 12F5061? I know 8.3 Beta 3 and Public Beta 1 were the same build number, but it appears Beta 4 and Public Beta 2 are different.

I'm on Public Beta and see 12F61.
