I seem to have a problem with 8.3 beta 4 in that my iCloud photo library on the iPhone gets stuck 6 photos to upload and just sits there.

also, my iCloud photo library doesn't have the same # of pictures on each device.. Crazy iCloud photo library driving me nuts.

I have a couple of questions:

First, does iOS 8.3 beta 4 fixes the problems with 3rd party keyboards? I mean, they appear always, with good and solid animations, without any bug and work properly? There were problems with 3rd party keyboard apps.

And second: How about iPhone 4S? Battery life is OK? And is there a bug wich returns you to the multitasking screen when you are in an app and click the home button? As seen in some video on YouTube.

Thanks!

Cant install. Its full downloaded, it did that while I was at work today.
But the Install Now button does this...

Not sure if it has been posted, but I haven't seen it mentioned yet.

The lock screen will now show all the other recipients of a group message, instead of looking like a single text from the person who sent it. I have quick responded to a group message, not even realizing it was a group message many times. This is a very welcome change.

unbelievable... such a silly bug that apple never fix... sad

The power module probably uses battery voltage to derive the percentage number. It's likely that whatever equation coupled with the precision of the voltmeter causes numbers to be skipped when counting down.

I doubt this means you have less battery life. The meter probably stays on 61% or 59% longer than it does on 55%, for example.

This bug is a nitpick to such extremes; it doesn't affect the usability of the device at all. I'd be hard pressed to even notice it unless I'm staring at the % all day. Why does it bother you so much?

apple is about paying attention to detail, part of why theyre priced & overpriced as they are, especially when things like that were much more rare if ever occurring in previous devices/ios versions, a bug is a bug

A bug is a bug but there are different severity layers to bugs and thus different priorities that often get attached to them in relation to that.

It was added in Beta 2 but just said 'Group Message'. Beta 3 introduced the names of the people in the conversation. It was talked about on that thread. :)

I'm gonna say no. I only really use swiftkey so I can't speak for other keyboards, but I've had my keyboard crash several times in Messages. And it still comes up slower than the stock keyboard. I don't have the patience to deal with checking other keyboard but for now is still irritating.

exactly what I think, I know that isn't a big bug, but still's a bug, we are on beta of iOS 8.3, we had several updates and none of them correct some "smalls bugs" like the battery percentage and the parallax on/off when we are putting a new wallpaper. but I know that we can't make these "small bugs" a big deal...

Thanks!!! What a pity, then :(

iOS 8.3 beta 4 Bug Fixes and Changes

Yes. The only concrete, verifiable thing Apple has done for third-party keyboards in 8.3 is to fix the issue where you can't leave reviews in the app store. All the other issues (slowness, lack of animation, keyboard sometimes reverting to default, keyboard not appearing at all, etc) are still present. It anything it's been worse. For the last two betas, you couldn't even use third-party keyboards in Safari. The latest beta has finally fixed this issue, essentially bringing it back to the level of 8.2 in terms of keyboard support.

I feel like a lot of the keyboard issues come from the fundamental way Apple has implemented them. Third-party keyboards don't persist in memory. They essentially have to start up and load from disk just like any other app when requested (unless they're still cached in RAM due to recent use.) this is really not acceptable for an input method that is expected to be available quickly without warning. Even things like the sliding animation break when there's a delay. Think about it: Apple could wait for the keyboard to load, render it offscreen, then slide it into view to ensure the animation was smooth every time, but this would further increase what is already an obnoxiously long loading time - you'd have to wait for the keyboard to load, then wait for the animation to complete. The slide animation only works if the loading time for the keyboard is essentially zero, as is the case for the default keyboard (and is occasionally the case for third-party keyboards when they're still cached, in which case you do in fact get the animation. It's rare though.)

The default Camera app doesn't show the correct photo preview. But overall, 8.3 seems pretty smooth for me and battery life on my iPhone 6 is great.

Not sure if this was noted before, but on Beta 3, I was having an issue when quick replying to a text message or imessage from the lock screen, the OK and Cancel buttons at the bottom of the quick reply window would be covered by the native keyboard, with no way to hide the keyboard, and no way to get to the OK and Cancel buttons, so I would be stuck there. The only way I could get around it was to lock the phone, unlock it, and then go into the Messages.app, and whatever I started typing in the quick reply was showing as draft in that message chain (which was at least nice to see, as I didn't lose what I started typing).

This seems to be fixed in Beta 4, as I am not running into this anymore.

Did anyone try beta 4 on a 5s? I ve heard that the animations are snappier. Is it true?

One thing i've noticed: I don't know what bugs are Apple fixing. Seriously.:confused: The bugs which i had reported to them are not fixed till now but i would say performance and stability has improved alot with 8.3 .
