Has anyone found if there is yet a way to get to this:

on iOS 8 beta? I have the latest beta, plus the beta versions of the iWork apps, iCloud Drive enabled, and still no way to see my non-app-silo data in iCloud Drive on iOS. If it's just a case of it not being fully implemented yet, that's fine, but I want to make sure I'm not overlooking something.

Apps have to support this feature. The iWork Betas probably don't have it yet. You have to wait till iOS 8 is available in September.

New AirDrop icon - if it hasn't been shown before - whenever AirDrop is disabled.

Has anybody noticed that the Phone.app now remembers if your last call used the Speaker and will keep that enabled for the next phone calls? Even after I did Reset All Settings it's still the same. Is anybody seeing the same behavior?

Just noticed it too, yesterday!

Even after a reboot, it remembers the last output: speaker or headset! Awesome!

Not exactly sure if that's awesome really. I often would use speakerphone on occasion so I'm not sure it'd be all that great to use it at some point earlier in the day for a call and then later at night get surprised by a call starting out with it again.

Yeah I'm with you on this one. Maybe it's a bug?

Control Center Flashlight icon switches from on to off. Go switch it on and off. Pretty cool!

EDIT: Apparently it's existed. My bad.

If you mean the on/off switch on the torch, that exists since last year with iOS 7 introduction...

Hmm I did not know that. Thanks. Edited my post.

That's great to read, thanks :)

By the way, can you confirm if we can finally ttach more than 5 (unlimited perhaps?) photos in Mail? Thanks in advance.

You can only select up to 5 in the photos app before the icon disappears but you can however insert one by one after that. I'm not sure that's new but if you must, there's a work around.

With extensions it may be possible for gmail to allow attaching of more than 5 photos. It's up to Google though to add the extension first though.

iPhone 5S started crapping the bed after an OTA to beta 4. Did an iTunes restore and restored the backup. Suddenly iMessages won't activate and I can only receive texts from non iOS user's but can send texts to anyone. Really strange

Has Beta 4 fixed the lock screen album art issue?Image

Really? That isn't an OS issue. That is an issue of the album art that was chosen for that album or song. Commercially produced album art usually has a standard square dimension. What is Apple supposed to fill in the white space with? It can't put something that isn't there originally! If Apple chose to enlarge the album art image to fit horizontally, it would crop the top and bottom of your image. If Apple chose to stretch the album art image to fit the space provided, the image would look goofy and out of proportion. It's not magic!

Can anyone post screens of the Music app on iPad? Is it any better than in iOS 7? Did they make any attempt at giving it a UI that takes advantage of the tablet screen real estate or is it still just a stretched out iPhone app with a bunch of list views?

Also, the original artwork in that file might actually have those white borders. However, Apple can choose to just show the image without the border if it is smaller than square, like so: http://f.cl.ly/items/1H0O1j0O1F040J2n2o1D/IMG_0017.PNG

Under iOS 7.0.4 the white space was just background, after that Apple made non-square album "pop" out with what is shown, whether due to a bug or purposeful. And a lot of commercially produced music not produced in the US do not have square album art, many are rectangular or have a portrait orientation. As this was an issue prior iOS 7.0.4 I consider this a bug.

It's probably the original artwork. I have non square artwork that shows with no white borders on the lock screen.

Looks like they fixed it unless this is Safari or the video app (I believe video app was not affected but I'll check). I checked my original album art and it something like 1200x768 so the white space was adde by Apple.
