Reported a bug to Apple today

seems like the App Store continually pulls Location Services despite being told not to. If you turn Location Services off, the message "turn location services on for App Store" (paraphrasing) immediately pops up. Not sure why it's happening, but it's absolutely decimating my battery life.

When you check location services in settings, which app is pulling your location? i had the same issue with the Appstore app, always checking my location even when I set it to NEVER.

Tapping on existing chat threads in Grindr makes the entire app freeze up, even when I did a clean install of iOS 8 rather than restoring from my 7.1.1 backup.

FYI... If you're using this on your daily driver, don't. It's not nearly stable enough to do so yet.

I've noticed a couple of things...

The period does not add itself after finishing a sentence when hitting the space bar twice even though it's enabled in settings (and usually on by default)

You can open the lock screen by selecting a notification and it takes you to the home screen after the app closes out (bypassing security PIN)

Does anyone on an iPad (Air in my case) see the new apps? I don't have Health, Cloud Drive, Family Share (I don't know this one is an app).

Health is iPhone/iPod only. I don't have iCloud Drive in any apps on my mini eaither.

Family Share is under iCloud settings.

camera app bug

Hi guys,
does anyone has the same problem as me in the camera app. When I want to go to camera roll or now called recent photos instantly from camera (i mean the small picture in the left down corner) it opens up something different but not camera roll.

I have iPhone 5.

That's in the release notes already.

Location Services
Known Issues

When Location Services is turned on, the device’s current location is used to recommend relevant apps on the lock screen. In this beta, this happens whether or not the App Store is enabled for Location Services.

Workaround: To disable app recommendation on the lock screen, turn off Location Services.

Anyone seen this? On my lock screen instead of the time

On a side note: Love that wallpaper. Reminds me of a french film, "The Red Balloon" that won a ton of awards back in 1956.

Love that film. They showed it in our school classrooms (A LOT) in the early 80s. :)

When a notification comes in on top, unless manually dismissed or gone after a few seconds, you're unable to do anything on the screen.

I had this for a while and then suddenly yesterday, they started working. I can slide the notification out of the way. That was exciting, except a different bug developed shortly after. LOL
