When attempting to delete multiple emails, I was unable to select more than 5 emails at a time. If I scrolled down, the circular icon to the left when tapping edit disappeared after I selected 5 emails to delete. When I would scroll up, the emails that were selected would then no longer be selected and would need to start the process again and delete 5 emails at time.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, it seems Notification Centre in settings is buggy, Passbook app keeps enabling itself back in there even though I disable all of that apps notifications, it's done it 4 times now.

Use recovery mode.

ESPN app keeps crashing. Have had no luck getting it to run. Was hoping to set up the notification widget. Any one know if any apps have active notification widgets??
The apps would need to be updated to have that, and so far apps haven't been updated to support iOS 8 features.

I believe the whole "weird/incorrect touch response" thing has been brought up a number of times before by different people. In one case I think I recall someone mentioning that it might be related to zoom in some way--perhaps its worth trying to check the zoom setting (in accessibility settings I believe) and maybe toggle it on and off (and perhaps even restarting the phone after that) to see if that makes any difference. Just found one "article" about that: http://www.trich.me/blog/ios8betatouchscreenoffsetproblem/
Thanx man i'll check it out...

In the bottom left corner is that suppose to be there "AppStore logo"

I keep making accidental voice imessages today for some reason....I have sent 10 voice messages from my pocket and its getting annoying......any way to turn of voiceoption?

It wasnt that bad yesterday.

I received an update for Candy crush and Highway Riders... I clicked update and dunno what happened... I picked up the phone 30 minutes later... Both icons wee the Apple icon grid icons... When launched would crash... I opened the app store and it won't load... I restarted the phone and both icons have vanished...

Found another bug:

On the lock screen, if you pull down the notification shade and try to swipe quickly to the end it raises the notification shade back up and shows the passcode screen.

Even if you try to slowly scroll to the end of the notification center (after hitting the top), once you lift you finger the whole shade moves up and the passcode screen is shown.

You can see it glitch when on the home screen as well.

I have a few that may have been mentioned before, but here goes:

iOS 8 Beta 1 bugs (iPhone 4S)

Phone would reset automatically (3 times total in 72 hours)
Phone would not wake from lock (12 times or so in same timeframe)
Phone would be stuck on speakerphone even though I did not engage it. Phone calls would connect but no audio was heard. Had to reset to fix.

For now I've gone back to 7.1.1 since my 4S is my daily phone. Unfortunately all my old testing devices are iPhone 4, so this beta was a tad more risky. Will try again on Beta 2

Here's hoping for the best

Has anyone tried any MFi certified 3rd party cables? Neither my Monoprice or Amazon certified cables are recognized by my 5s. No charging or aux output in my car (and I tested the cables with my wife's 5s still on 7.1.1 and they work). I submitted a bug report yesterday, just wanting to see if anyone else had experienced this.

Yup, no luck with the USB ports of a rental Challenger and Charger. Doesn't work with my Audi's AMI cable, either. The Audi doesn't see the phone at all and the Challenger just said it was an incompatible USB device.

Have used every iOS beta and this one is definitely the buggiest. Just as someone mentioned already, it's more of an alpha release than a beta. Way to many bugs and crashes on my test devices to list them all out. Been busy filing bug reports with Apple pretty much all day.

iOS 7 BETA 1 was more buggy, for me. The phone would reboot all the time, couldn't answer calls a LOT etc etc. iOS 8 BETA 1 is certainly bug-ridden, but not in the same league as iOS 7's. Heck, at least 8 is usable on a day-to-day basis!

I noticed that if you delete pictures and delete it from the "Recently Deleted" the pictures are not actually deleted. You can verify this by plugging in to a computer - Windows and explore the folders - Mac use Preview and import.

I reported this as a bug.

For straight talk iphone 5 users: beta 1 doesn't allow you to access 3G cellular data.

That icon is for handoff. If you swipe up from that icon it'll open whatever app you've been using on your other device and show exactly where you left off.
That's not really what that particular one and some similar ones are for.

Snapchat video isn't working ever since I downloaded iOS 8. Picture works fine. Also phone keeps randomly respringing.
