Wait, you have an iPhone 4, yet you're running iOS 8? How is that possible?

I think they mean that they've seen them elsewhere and would like them posted so they can use them perhaps? Or that they got a hacky version of iOS8 to run on their 4.

Nooo, you got it wrong, i don't have iOS 8 installed, thats impossible but you know that already. I just want the wallpapers, so i have a little bit of iOS 8 feel on my iPhone :).

Gonna upgrade next year to iPhone 6 though.

I love the plants surrounded by emptiness, looks nice

May be a stupid question but if I update to the GM, I won't be able to sync any music or anything without iTunes 12 correct?

I was thinking that. Just googled, it seems many dodgy sites list iPhone 4 with a download link. It is a link to iOS 7 however.

Should I restore my iPhone to a backup or should I do a clean install? It's about halfway done now and I'm not too bothered if I have to start again with a fresh install. Just want to do the safest/easiest method.

* edit *

When I say halfway done, I mean downloading the GM :p

I've just done the shift + update and selected the ipsw, update from beta 5 to GM all okay.

From the GM release notes

"If you installed Beta 5 on the device, you should erase the device after installing the GM Seed."

I saw that as well. So...backup the device, install the GM build, erase the device, and restore the backup? lol. Does installing the GM build not wipe the device already?

...For 4s please?:D

So, when I tick Spotlight's Bing and Web search suggestions (in settings), they automatically tick off when I come back, thus I can't use them. iCloud Library now has "(beta)" next to it's name (again, in settings).

There's new warning when turning on LTE on other networks (mine wasn't tested yet).

That's the wrong file (6,1). The one I've got (6,2) A1457 has md5

e202d8311de8e1cb4a409754615bc42b

In any case itunes won't install a fake file. Apple verifies it on install.

Why? You can't really install anything that doesn't come from Apple or is for the device that you have as Apple won't allow for it to go through.

Yup, basically that.

Why are people asking for the MD5 hash? I don't understand why.

Also I think I know why I'm getting the not found message I posted about in another thread. I think I need Xcode 6 GM so I'm downloading that now to see if it fixes it. Someone mentioned the USB drivers being buggy. Hopefully this fixes it, will let you know.
