Did I say that multitasking hasn't been done well on any platform? Or are you just trying out your troll-fu?
Most true multitasking solutions I have seen have not been done well.
Surface allows you to put up a thin bar as a second screen, minimizing what you're able to do with it.
Surface Pro adds the option of having multiple windows up on the non-tablet optimized desktop, but everything ends up being too small to work effectively. All the tablets running Windows 8.1 have this problem.
Samsung's music player option allows you to keep the music player on top while working apps in the background. This isn't better than Apple's solution in iOS 7 where you can swipe up to control your music player. Apple's advantage is that you don't have a screen overlaying what you're trying to do.
I do like Samsung's S-Note application. Being able to bring up a note pad so I can take some notes without having to switch back and forth between apps would be nice.
A failing on the part of both Samsung and Surface is that many of their screen elements are so small you need a stylus to navigate the OS. That has always been something I've liked on the iPad is that everything is built to be controlled with finger gestures. If I have to hold my tablet with one hand and manipulate it with a stylus, I would rather just jump on the desktop computer.
Samsung's 12.2" tablet allows four windows to be open at the same time, so you can monitor email or keep an eye on your calendar. In both cases I prefer Apple's notification system. Any email, text, or calendar entry can pop up a reminder when I want, or I can swipe down to open the notification center and see my calendar for the day plus any notifications I want. I can't imagine having four screen open at one time, even on a 12 inch tablet, would be easy to deal with. I will sometimes have that many windows open on my 27" iMac. If the elements and text were any smaller, it would be more trouble than it's worth to have that many windows open.
This is just my read on things. I haven't used Samsung (or other android) tablets, so I'm just going on what I can see online. I do use a Surface Pro, so I think my opinion there is valid.
