Don't do it. Bad idea.

9.0.2 is horrendously slow and laggy and if you jailbreak, you'll have to stick with it, and you won't be able to get future performance enhancements Apple is already working on (such as with 9.1).

I'm on 8.4.1 waiting on an 8.4.1 jailbreak, since 8.4.1 is already really stable and fast, I think I could hang onto it with a jailbreak.

Why would they release a JB for 8.4.1 if they're doing it now for 9.X. I don't think that's going to happen.

Your quote deserves more up votes. There's a lot of functionality in iOS that can be traced back to popular jailbreak features. Not every innovative idea in iOS had it's genesis in Cupertino.

Some of the features in early (and current) releases of Android also came first from the iOS Jailbreak community as well. Many Android users fail to realize this when bragging about a feature that they believe came to Android first.

Hoping Taig releases their version. I had issues with Pangu on prior devices (7.1.2 and 8.0.2).

I jailbreak really for f.lux and ifile. This way I can transfer documents and movies into a 64gb SD card and watch them via the CCK adapter.

Admittedly, I like Movie Box too!

Movie Box is awesome! To me, it's kinda weird not to jailbreak.

Yeah I know, I used to jailbreak up until iOS 7 I think then I just don't see the point. Yes there are very cool things you can do just doesn't seem worth it for me.

I guess you have to consider the fact that you'll be stuck on that version without any patches or security updates until you restore.

That's what has been keeping me from jailbreaking on my 5s (daily driver). But since iOS 9 is such an awful release, I'm down for it now. I don't care. I love 8.4.1 so much. My iPod touch is jailbroken on 8.4 and it's great.

Well. Here I am sitting on iOS 9.1 beta.

Maybe I'll restore and wipe my Air 2 as that one has the least amount of stuff on it and it's only a 16GB. It could benefit from removing a lot of the unnecessary apps.

Siri for Spotify. That's what I want. The only thing that kept me around for Apple Music was Siri, and even then it wasn't enough. There used to be a jailbreak that made that work, but alas. No longer. Someone needs to work on that so I can throw money at them.

That wasn't my question. I asked if it was legal or not, not whether the carrier policy is right in the first place.
Are you the police? Why does it matter to you if it's legal or not? You seem to be asking a question just for the sake of starting a debate about it. Honestly, why does it matter to you if he is tethering without paying a fee that's just milking customers anyway?

Noooo, wait until 9.1 is released to the public.

Yeah, it's a much smarter idea. It's much faster than 9.0.2 and it's still on the beta stages.

If I were on iOS 9 and wanted to jailbreak, I'd wait until like 9.1.x or 9.2.x (if any), so that way I'd be staying on stable version.

But I'm not. I'm on 8.4.1 (which is really stable and fast) and ready to jailbreak. :p

And miss out on Tweetbot 4 and Overcast 2 + all the cool iOS 9 stuff? No thanks, I'm sick of being on 8.4.

Plus, reduce motion helps a ton with lag.

And let's not forget the main reason most people jaikbreak: so they can pirate paid apps
Nope. They don't need to jailbreak to pirate paid apps.
All they need is just an ipa package, no matter who has bought it.

What happened to this 'rootless' tech that was to be included in ios9 that was supposed to stop jailbreaking?
