Thousands of iPhone and iPad users are now hitting the "check for update" button every 5 seconds. That should help things along.

Hope it does come soon. My 3G iPhone has been nothing but troublesome since the update from 3.1 to 4.1. I regret it everyday, and there is no going back. They should have this option, considering the problems they cause with the last 2 iOS updates.
